This hotel is very charming and old. It's located right next to the harbor and a short walk to the downtown. The service was good and the breakfast was delicious. Not the best location if you are heading for the Messe center.

This place is a hidden winner! The staff are prompt in responding to emails prior to your arrival, very accommodating for all customer needs, rooms are clean, spacious for the period of the building, the continental breakfast is always fresh, the beer garden is lovely and naturally encourages friendly atmosphere. The Wifi is relatively fast and included. The bathrooms are... More

We were only having an overnight stay in Fredericia, but because of the hotel we would have liked to stay there a few more days. The hotel is fine in a quiet area. It is homely with old furniture, pictures and hundreds of objects of pottery exhibited in living areas, stairs and corridors. The city is small, friendly and nice.... More

I just think this is a great hotel. When you are arrive, people are really friendly and charming. the Hotel is decorated in a specific style, you either love it or not. The bathrooms are not upated but everything is very clean and its also very cheap.

All rooms in the hotel are fitted with old style furniture, old rugs, paintings etc. Gives the feel you go back in time. Basic rooms but all you need is there and all is clean. Friendly staff. The hotel is quite close to the center of town where you can find shops and restaurants. This was my 2nd time there... More

Very friendly and helpfull people. Rooms are ok, maybe a bit "classic", but be sure not to ask for the smoking room: yes it is a smoking room, but it is more an emergency place for if they are overbooked. Food is good and reminds me more of an family dinner than restaurant. Quality and prices are good.

Et ældre og lidt skrammet, men hyggeligt byhotel med rimelige værelser til prisen. Møbler og udsmykning fra bedstemors ungdom. Pæn stor morgenmadsbuffet, venlig betjening. An old and slightly worn city hotel with a cosy atmosphere and reasonably nice rooms considering the general Danish price level. Furniture and decorations in grandmother style. Nice breakfast selection, friendly service.

The Restaurant at Hotel Postgaarden is the best kept secret in Fredericia. The restaurant is unique. It takes you back in time to when quality of food and service was great! If you know the classic Danish TV series you know what we mean. Velbekomme!

Hotel Postgaarden doesn't have one outstanding feature - instead it is a standard hotel in a slightly old world style that does everything including the all the little things just right! The atmosphere is nice and cozy, and the staff is very service minded, welcoming a forthcoming. The rooms are nice (even fairly sizeable) and clean. Likewise the rest of... More
