The best restaurant I have ever been in. The food and the way it was served was like a fairy tale. They go for a Michelin star next year, and I hope they will get it. I'm looking forward to next time visit

We were here for two nights. Clean and spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds but the pillows were very thin. No extra pillows either. If I am picky I also thought that the disposables in the bathroom was not top of the line. The breakfast is ok, but not excellent. You have to eat dinner, though. Beautiful environment around the hotel.... More

The Molskroen Strandhotel is new and very nicely designed modern hotel. It is across the street from the beach but we did not find that there was that much added value from this aspect. That said, everything was nice and of high quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had reserved two nights and had to shorten to one... More

It can be a bit confusing to know which hotels are referred to in the reviews regarding these establishments. There are are in fact two hotels, one is Molskroen, the more expensive one, and one is Molskroen Strandhotel which is a new hotel not far from the old one and not as expensive. This review is about the latter where... More

Our stay at Molskroen in May 2015 was absolutely wonderful! The rooms held the typical danish hotel room standard, which is good, but old. The best rooms are in the corners, because you have a bigger garden and less noice. The restaurant is one of north-Denmark´s best restaurants and they serve perfect gourmet food! Quite expensive, but well worth it!

nice hotel with top restaurant. I had a great view on the sea. The towels were very soft and there was a bath top standing free in the bath room. Staff is very friendly. I would certainly come back if Im in the area.

This kro is ten minutes drive outside Ebeltoft, just a stone throw from the beach. We stayed in junior suites that are a row of townhouses on the side of the main building. A small garden i front and two floors with two bedrooms. Unfortunally is there a lot of tall trees shading for the sun in the afternoon. If... More

Food: small portions, which is always appreciated, very well layed out ( often you can't see what you're eating) and fresh materials. Very good, I'd say, but not excellent, my calf was tasty and soft but didn't melt in my mouth. Service: there were two waiters, one in black jacket who I presume is more important but not at all... Stayed there for a gourmet weekend and what a stay. Was greeted with a warm welcome and was personally followed to our "suite" house. Very nice service, has never experienced anything like it, not even in business hotels around the world! Huge suite in to floors with 2 sleeping rooms, a living room and a huge bathroom, as well a... I had invited my nearest family to stay at the Mols Kroen in connection with a celebration. All enjoined the stay, the rooms and dinner. The art deco was nice and is a good fit with the old inn buildings. My husband and I (and 2 children) stayed in a junior suite (2 floors with a garden). This is very... More
