We arrived at the hotel and received a nice and warm welcome. Keeping in mind that it is a family hotel we were surprised to received such attention. They always try to do their best to help out. I had an issue to connect to the wifi with my laptop. I was surprised to get my problem solved by the...

I recently stayed at the Hotel Cardinal this summer during a business trip. Now I do my fair share of travelling around the world staying in a variety of different hotels, but most of the time I don’t get around to writing a review on TripAdvisor because the hotel is uninspiring. The Hotel Cardinal is not one of those. I...

Stayed at the Cardinal during the Spa 6 Hour motor race. My first stay here and I have to say that the hotel is lovely, the rooms are spacious, bathrooms clean and very functional. Breakfast is good, although I could do with more coffee! The decor may not be to everyone's taste but the quality of the fixtures and fittings...

Great view from the breakfast room on the main road where weekend events such as oldtimer rallies can be watched. Room windows have good noise isolation. Bus stop in front. Hotel design is a very nice individualistic combination of solid end 19th century architecture with recent illusionist wall paintings adapting the style of 18th century landscape painting.

They have private garage that you can rent if you need. The speed of the Wifi is high and stable. If you're looking for a Clean and...

Stayed here for the British GT round at Spa circuit and we arrived in the early hours and were checked in promptly with no fuss. The hotel is an odd mix of old and new, from the "hidden" marble staircase via the clean but dated bedrooms to the ultra-modern bathrooms. The rooms are perfectly adequate and as we were on...

The hotel is perfectly located in the town the rooms and the breakfast are a little basic but for the price you can't complain the wifi worked well whilst there and some updating of bathrooms and televisions as happened since my last stay. The staff are helpful and friendly and it helps when the women on duty whilst there was...

This hotel has a brilliant location - right in the centre of town, on main street. But, apart from breakfast which is adequate the place unfortunately is very poor in most other departments. The rooms do not have have a fan never mind air conditioning. It was warm when I was there and in the nights it was quite stifling....

Hotel Cardinal is located perfectly right in the middle of a lovely leafy square in this great old town. Overall, this is a perfectly adequate place to stay for one or two nights during race meetings at the Spa, Francorchamps circuit which is located 10kms down the road. It is a clean, efficient hotel but do not expect any frills...

The location is great, in the centre of Spa and close to all the attractions. But unless you like sleeping in a hostel style room with WiFi that doesn't work, a tiny portable TV and dated decor, then I suggest you look elsewhere. Nevertheless, it offers value, convenience and a decent buffet for breakfast - albeit with surly staff.
