OK it was out of season so very quiet. However this was a great little hotel not part of a chain. Reception was friendly and efficient. We rode a quirky lift to the 3rd floor where our room was located. Room was clean and well equipped with a comfortable bed. A little investment in larger pillows would be appreciated. Good... More

During reservation, we were offered an option for parking space. A must in Knokke, where parking is difficult. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was very spacious, with good supply of shampoo, body lotion etc.. The 4 course dinner was tasty. And the personal made us feel at home, offering options in the menu for our grandchildren. Breakfast... More

At the reception, we were welcomed by Carine, a super friendly lady and we immediately felt at home. We took our afternoon tea on one of the sunny terraces and enjoyed one of the best 'croques' we ever ate. The room was very clean with a king size bed and a bathroom with natural light. We also enjoyed a great... More

Fancy seaside town and an average overpriced hotel. Close to the beach which was empty. The rooms were small and congested. Rooms were clean and bed was fine. Nice restaurants near by. Service is slow and tired. The town is good for a quiet vacation with good food and if serenity of the town is to be enjoyed then this... More

We arrived at 14.20 but room was not (yet) ready as it should be while we specifically informed the hotel that we would be arriving at 14.00.... bad first impression.. We paid 120 Eur and got the smallest type room on the top floor. It is very small, too small really for 2 people. Tiny bathroom. No air con. Very... More

We loved our stay in this hotel. It is close to the seaside and to the center. The receptionist and the waiters are very nice and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent and dinner was very good. (32euro for a 4dish menu). You leave the car at the parking space and give your key to the hotel so they can move... More

I’ve always wondered what who gives stars to a hotel and what the stars stand for. This weekend I wondered again. Parking on parking place of the hotel is a problem. At arrival a very sleepy receptionist (it was 5 pm) said we could park in the street if we didn’t want to drop the car keys at the reception.... More

The Hotel Alanta was an ok hotel. My wife and I spent one night in the hotel. Our room was a small room that could use some updating. The desk clerk when we checked in was very nice and made sure I had a place to park on the street. They also have a nice little bar at the hotel... More

This was a mixed experience. The hotel's location is central, the water front just some 100 meters away. But alas, the parking is affected by the location. Thus, your main parking possibility is on the streets in the area, forced to pay strict attention to the meter times not to get a parking ticket. That is, of course, if you... More
