Just got back from a 3-day stay at Kloster Heidberg. The place is not only magical with its old buildings and walls full of history, it is also a very good choice to stay at in the lovely city of Eupen. Good location, 5 minutes walk to the station and city centre, the bedrooms are modern, comfortable, quiet, fully equiped and very clean. All the staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. All of them try to speak your native language and most of them do.

Kloster Heidberg is a renovated historic building but both rooms (accommodation) and seminar facilities are comfortable and very new compared to many other hotels and/or seminar centers. The historic aura gives a nice and authentic touch and the rooms - despite all modern comfort - give you still a warm impression of the modesty of the early days.

Nice hotel surrounded by greenery that hosts corporate and private events. A well-restored old monastery that combines ancient and modern. Small rooms very nice, clean, in the attic. Good kitchen and nice outdoor patio. There is a very nice bar in the tavern where to spend the evening with friends.

First of all, all the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The house has a lovely atmosphere. An old monastery complex has been tastefully transformed into a modern conference centre. The conference rooms are friendly and functional. The overnight rooms are comfortable. Everything is very clean and well-kept.
On foot, you can reach the centre of Eupen or the countryside in just a few minutes.

Through my participation in the Open Borders MBA and in numerous conferences and seminars at the Heidberg monastery, I spent well over a hundred hours in the monastery and learned to greatly appreciate the center and its very friendly staff. My hashtags: Professional, "place of retreat"; historical flair with modern design and comfort, "border experience" at the interface between Romanic and Germanic Europe; Belgian savoir vivre, excellent cuisine and lots of conviviality with East Belgian beers in the monastery cellar... and all this right next to the Eupen train station in the center of the capital of the German-speaking community of Belgium.

I have been to various events at the Heidberg Monastery several times. It is the perfect location for both private and business events, as the monastery offers a wide range of possibilities. The staff are also super friendly and always willing to help. I can only recommend it. :-)
