Very disappointed in the hotel and the facilities. Upon booking in, we were told that the restaurant was closed as the chef was on holiday. There was also no bar at the hotel. Uncomfortable nights sleep, combination of bad pillows and water sounding ( either pipes or heavy rain) above the ceiling roof. Receptionist didn't ask if I had a pleasant stay or not. Overall, I would not recommend it
We wanted a nice hotel for a 7 nights near Antwerp. The parking is great, the rooms spacious, the bathroom spacious but in need of some TLC, the cap on the bathtub faucet was missing, and some joints between the tiles were black. The WiFi was good, though not super fast. The only real disappointment was in the commercial attitude of one reception clerk and the manager. In the hotel description it stated that the rooms were equipped with a water heater and a expresso machine. When we checked in, there was only a water heater. Though this may seem trivial for some, it’s important to me. In the morning, when we’re getting ready I always answers my emails, and enjoy a cup of coffee while doing so. So, when I complained the reception clerk said that only ‘executive rooms’ have one. I did not accept that, since it was mentioned otherwise on the web, so the clerk said that he would talk to the manager, and call me later. When he called, he stated that it was ‘impossible to provide an expresso machine (??) and that the only thing he could do was ‘immediately check me out !! In other words, shut up or get lost ! This attitude and answer is an insult and unworthy of any one working in the hospitality business. Dear manager and reception clerk, change your attitude and customer relation policy, or get out of the hospitality business.…
Brakfast was very small, just one slice of meat and cheese. Does not match the price. And always late, We asked to prepare 5.30 because of flight. Got it 06.05. Rooms need more lights. And it could be bathrobes in the rooms.
Excellent place even during the Corona circumstances lot’s of space. Friendly staff. Very quiet. Lot’s of parking space. Close to Antwerp, Mechelen and Brussels. Will book again next time definitely. Recommended
This is a cozy and great hotel for any type of stay. It's calm, quite, comfortable, has great beds and a great great breakfast. All the staff are nice and welcoming and will help you with any doubt you have.
We have stayed already several times in this hotel and it is always nice to be here, Nice clean room, very friendly staff ( especially in the breakfast room) and a breakfast buffet with plenty of choice !
Basic standard room in a basic standard building with basic standard service and basic standard breakfast.. No iron, no sandals, no cornflakes, no restaurant !!!, ... 2 nights single with breakfast 298€ including all taxes. Not so sure... it is worth what I paid !
we stayed one night in this hotel. The rooms are huge, bathrooms also. Very good beds and very quiet at night. Simply a great hotel. There's a conference center nearby and this hotel would seem perfect for the business traveller. We recommend this place.
Reasonably close to central Antwerp so room rates are ok. We stayed Friday and Saturday. Breakfast at 20 euro per person per day is too expensive for bad coffee from poor quality machines and few croissants/pastries available at 9am on a Sunday morning because a large party had departed early. However, relatively wide selection of food available. Not impressed with pastic cups in bathroom - and these were not replaced for second evening 0 which I would say is wasteful - why not glasses? Its not a cheap hotel and would be more environmental friendly.
Very nice hotel with large rooms and delicious breakfast. Stuff were very friendly. And special thanks for Chris who was serving the breakfast with a very open heart. I recommend this hotel for the comfort and the price. Hey they have free parking ;)
