Although I know they try hard to make this place work, it is in desperate need of some energy and basic upgrading before it will ever attract the the crowd that will turn this hotel/restaurant into a lively place again. Food is basic, cared for, but basic. Unfit for a so-called gastronomic dinner/weekend or to face the competition of neighbouring... More

Booked this hotel then read the reviews on Trip Adivsor afterwards. Stayed here two nights for B&B only.Found it to be a mixture of everything that has already been written. Typical Belgian manor house but in need of some TLC. Clean but small rooms. Friendly service (with some English spoken). Breakfast good. Good Location. I would probably not recommend this... More

My wife and I spent three nights there after booking an extended 'gastronomic' package through Jetair. Bouillon is a small town in the Belgian Ardennes (Luxemburg province), near the French border. The area is perfect for tourism and walking. And eating! First, the location - which is excellent. La Pommeraie is housed in an early 20th century and lovingly restored... More

The customer service at this hotel was absolutely deplorable. I fell on a train and severely broke my arm two days before I was to arrive at the hotel. I required immediate surgery and hospitalization for several days. I notified the hotel about my condition, and the necessary cancellation of my reservation, more than 24 hours ahead of time. The... This person had an accident in Belgium the day of his arrival. His daughter phoned us in the morning to cancel the room. One week after they send us a mail to be payed back for all the stay. We have paid, so they never went in the hotel, it's easy to say horrible experience. More

This website has for a long time been "read-only" for us but my partner and I were so thoroughly disappointed after our recent stay in this hotel that we felt driven to help others avoid a similar experience to our own. We booked-up a promotion for a single night's stay and "gastronomic dinner" with wine included and were looking forward... More

We took with two couples the gastronomic arrangement ( 2 nights - 1 evening a 4 course dinner and 1 evening a 6 course dinner). The people were VERY friendly, the food was more than excellent. The wine was very good as well (a different one with every course). The hotel is an old building, but very 'romantic'. The rooms... More

What should have been a nice gastronomic wedding anniversary became a big disappointment. We booked the hotel because they confirmed by mail that they spoke English. Not a word came out of the waitress en the manager spoke two words and continued in French and did not want to solve the problems. Food was disapointing and as soon as the... More
