Don't get me wrong... the place is beautiful and clean. We checked in and did not see anyone Called and were told our cabin would be open. It was and it was beautiful. Well that was the end of seeing a living soul for 2 days. The restaurant was locked up tight. Finally found Johan who was a nice guy... More

Grew up visiting Parlin Pond and nothing has changed, it is still as beautiful and peaceful as ever! Our family just celebrated my parents' 60th Anniversary and we were about 25 people so we rented 2 larger cabins and lodge rooms. All lodging was amazing and everyone was comfortable. Jonah the property manager was also very informative and shared lots... More

We spent the weekend in a cabin. Couldn't have asked for better! This place was beautiful and clean! Kayaks, paddle boats and canoes available at no cost. The kids loved the trampoline in the middle of the lake. General store about 15 minutes away. Two large fire pits with seating. Everything about Lake Parlin was perfect. We will definitely be... My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and loved the cabin. The lake was beautiful and had paddle boats, kayaks, and canoes available for use. The fire pits were great and had wood to make fires. The only complaint we had was the cabins are close together, maybe 30 feet apart and every noise can be heard. The cabin... More

We spent one night in a lodge room. The room was much better than we expected. Very comfortable beds and linens-- better than many 4 star hotels we've stayed in! The room was great- two queen beds and a sleeping loft. No view of the lake but we knew that when we booked. It was peaceful and lovely. Kids loved... More

Beautiful rustic cabin with all the modern amenities. Picturesque setting right on the lake. Could not have been happier with myself for booking a cabin here. We made use of the kayaks that are available for the guests on a daily basis. Found the other guests on the property to be families that were quiet and respectful of others. Wifi... More

We flew up to Boston from Florida, rented a car and stayed in Portland a few days and then took the drive up to the Lodge (just a short 2.5 hours from where we were) - we did take Liz's suggestion and stopped at the Walmart in Skowhegan for groceries, as that is the last large town until before you... The setting of the lodge is just picturesque! Its setting could not be more perfect! I had never been to Maine, but in my imagination, this was it and more! The main lodge where the bar and restaurant are, is situated over looking the lake. They have an outdoor fire pit to keep you toasty! We rented one of the... More

I went with my boyfriend and his family of 25 people, every one of us had the most amazing time there. Accommodations are incredible! Joe, Jonah and Liz are the kindest people, they go way above and beyond to help you have the most comfortable and pleasant stay. I really can't say enough. And even though I was so excited,... More
