We stayed at the campground for two weeks in August and will definitely be back. Campground was quiet and very clean. Owners were very helpful and always available. Added bonus having laundry facilities.

This was our first stay. We reserved a tent site, randomly picking one that looked good on paper. Upon arrival, we were told they moved us to a different site that they thought was better, and we could park at our site. The other site would require us to park somewhere else. It was hot during our stay, but the densely treed area kept the temperature tolerable. Washroom and shower were nice and clean. Will be back!

This place was Fantastic! GREAT EVERYTHING! Deep level sites and gives off that BC camping feel! The staff is super nice ! wood is a good price at 9$ a bundle and was ver good and they delver it to your site! This is a family place and all fire are to be out at 11pm due to the risk of forest fires, even site has a bucket of water for that reason! We met the owners and they are super nice people! Defiantly will be back! oh and check out the BX Falls trail this is right there! very nice!

Such a cozy little get away, close to home. We booked our sites for a family reunion and Catherine was able to strategically place us within close proximity to each other which was so appreciated based on the size of each of our trailers. We had a small misunderstanding about one of our sites, but Catherine was very professional in how she handled the situation and it was sincerely appreciated! At Cedar Falls they were diligent about fire safety and any concerns they had were expressed in an effort to keep everyone safe. The sites are very close together which doesn’t allow for a lot of privacy but it wasn’t a problem and everyone was respectful. If you looking for an off grid feeling getaway this would fit the bill. Wifi was sketchy but when you’re camping who needs it?! We will definitely book again!

I'm a long term camper, who seen the awesome new management create improvements on an already great spot. Washrooms cleaned twice daily, landscaping done regularly, a good equipped store and very accomodating ownership. It's the middle of August here now, Kelowna is smoky but Vernon is clear blue skies. Great days to take in the emerald colored water at Kalamaka Lake! Doesn't feel like a lockdown here!

I stayed at Cedar Falls for four nights in late July 2021. I was staying in a travel trailer with 30 amp and water hookup. From the beginning Sebastien and Catherine were very eager to make sure all of our needs were met. I was able to get change for the showers in the evening, which was convenient. The pull-through site was nice, as was Sebastien escorting me and guiding me in. The bathrooms are very clean, and even though the sites were close together the heavily wooded site does afford some privacy. The closeness did have some benefits (close to bathroom/shower). I appreciated that Sebastien keeps this as a family-friendly campground as I had my young children with me. The only thing keeping this from being a five-star campground is the lack of amenities for young children such as a playground. However I understand that management is working to make this a reality. Thanks for the excellent service!

We stayed there for 3 nights and really loved this place. What it makes it amazing are the owners: they only had a few days experience as owners but make us feel like home. They go above and BEYOND to make your stay pleasant even though some sites are on the smaller side but would recommend it anytime...

I needed a few nights away to regroup and ground myself and decided to stay at Cedar Falls Campground. I am beyond happy this is where I chose to stay. There is a waterfall that is only a 5 minute walk away, which is just breathtaking and a great way to relax in the mountains. The campground is kept very well maintained, bathrooms are clean and the store is stocked with whatever you may need while away. Thank you, Sebastiaan, Catherine and kids for making my stay so comfortable, Cailex you are on hard working little man, keep it up! I highly recommend Cedar Falls Campground to anyone and everyone!

This is the second time we've stayed here, this time for a week. We ended up in a pull through in the lower section but still had power and water. It was well treed and set up to maximize privacy to the adjacent sites Staff are very friendly and came around on a regular basis. Campground was clean, as were the bathrooms and the showers were pretty generous for $1. It is about 10 minutes to town, so relatively quiet and cool (up in the hills in a creek valley). There was noise at times but mostly from neigbouring properties or roads. Kids playground is a bit lame, and the full service sites near the top are RV Park style, close together. Sani dup is convenient and clean and they offer a pump out your tank service if needed. Across the road is BX Falls, about a 10-minute hike. Great spot, we will be back.

Response from Cedar Falls, Owner at Cedar Falls Campground

Thanks for your review. We appreciate the positive review and it was very nice seeing you again! Returning guests as yourselves are really our greatest compliment. We do have some great plans to turn our campground playground from ordinary to awesome . The latest addition is a cedar wood built car with seats, a roof and steering wheels. There will be more to come! The newer 50-30 amp sites at the top are geared for larger RVs with a generous 30 feet between sites.

Hosts were very nice, but I don’t believe there’s a single site where you aren’t in plain view of your neighbors - it’s definitely too close for comfort. And the noise! If it’s not chainsaws and hammers, the highway traffic will fill in the gap. Definitely not a return spot.

Response from Cedar Falls, Owner at Cedar Falls Campground
Responded Oct 8, 2020
Hi Trix1234567: Thank-you for posting your review, we always appreciate customer feedback. A common theme in reviews we receive is how pleasant, positive and helpful the staff here are. We take great pride in this, as a group, and we are grateful you included that in your review! Sadly, we are unable to resolve any of the other issues you brought up as they are beyond our control. A neighbour across the road recently discovered a leak in the roof of their house which turned into a major renovation project which was the hammering noise As for the chainsaw noise - our campground is full of trees, many 50 to 80 feet high which provide amazing shade and beauty in our campground. A number of trees required removal this fall and the arborist came during your stay unfortunately. Putting the safety of our campers first and foremost meant we could not delay the removal of the trees until later in our off season. We are known as being a quiet peaceful campground but there are occasional drivers that enjoy hearing the sound of their own motors near the falls where it can echo. I am not sure if this is the road noise that you mentioned. Unfortunately there events all culminated together during your stay with us, and we wish it wasn't so. Now, your point about privacy is noted. We can't make the trees grow any faster, but we have done some improvements on some of our sites by adding elegant cedar panels to provide more separation and privacy under the cedar trees. We often give advice to campers on how to park their vehicles or set up their tents/trailers in order to make the best use of the space if the site is a smaller one. We have 60 sites located in the 8 acre parcel so there is more space than many of the locations in the area. We look at the number of Five Star reviews we have received over the years and we take solace in the fact our efforts are exceeding the expectations of the vast majority of our guests. Maybe someday you will give us another chance!! All the best :) RESERVATIONS Cedar Falls Campground 250-558-1559
