Meres Homes is a very descent place to stay in Mykonos if you know what you are looking for. Ano Mera is a quiet traditional village 20 minutes away from Mykonos Town but quite close to the famous Elia Beach. The apartments are very clean, comfortable, new and equipped will all the necessary facilities. There is also parking space if you decide to rent a car. Good traditional restaurants and my favourite bakery on the entire island are in walking distance too. I 've been visiting the island many years in a row so i knew exactly where Meres is located, therefore it will not be suitable if you are looking for a place near town but it is an excellent choice for those looking to explore another side of this amazing island.

The place is in the center of the island. No swimming pool neither restaurant, but very clean with air cond and the woman managing is very kind. Good for one night stay before going elsewhere. The manager took us with her on car To the beach for 10 euros, since buses don't stop for you at the bus stop and there is no taxi without expensive reservation.

The position is not good: so exposed to very strong wind that you cannot even enjoy the terrace outside and are obliged to be in the room. From this hotel you cannot enjoy any of the beautifull views you have in Ano Mera. The booking is desorganised and they make mistakes in taking reservations. Only positive: clean (which is anyway a general positive point of most of the hotels in mykonos) There are indeed better places in Ano Mera, which is a quite village with no noise and none of the caos of mykonos.

Be aware of the policies before booking at this place There seems to be a communication problem with both bad english and broken greek. The policy of "Book now and Pay Later" doesn't work with Meres Homes. You can book now, however the full amount is required on credit card first, at which they will then refund your credit card amount and you will pay the cash upon arrival. This makes it difficult when travelling with various people. There is also apparently a "free cancellation" policy which doesn't require credit card validation, however when making the mistake of not accepting this policy, you cannot change it, and the staff were rude and inconsiderate when questioning their policy on the phone. I would advise you look elsewhere on the island. We have found some other much cheaper places with better service and of course, better rooms with closer proximity to various areas such as the beach and towns!…

Quiet, very clean, free transfer, perfect sea vieiw. it was just 5 minutes walk from the Bakery and the supermarket. Same distance from the Square where are lots of restaurants and tavernas, specialy the swwt shop with loukoumades, Bus stop in 100 meters. Elia beach just 2 km. Its perfecyt for family and it had all equipment in the kitchen.

Very good complex of furnished apartments. We stayed at a small room (according to the website mereshomes.com), but it was not small. It was big, clean and absolutely suitable for 2 persons. It had also a vernada with view to take our breakfast. Actually, breakfast is not served. The room comprised of fully equipped kitchen and nearby there were supermarkets and a bakery from where you can buy things to make your breakfast. We paid 50 euros per night. Very good value for money. Also, nearby there is a small restaurant called "Kalammmakia" which serves delicious souvlaki and meat at very reasonable prices. Overall, we had a very good stay at Meres Homes.
