I can't rate this place highly enough. From the warm greeting to the sincere farewell, my wife and I enjoyed every moment. The food is something special and 100% vegan. The room was pristine and the bed extremely comfortable. Thank you Team Koukoumi for making our stay special.

The rooms and facilities are all excellent. Lovely staff and it’s so great not to have to worry if food is vegan!! We went full board and never got bored with the options. Would recommend the amazing tasting menu for a special treat🙂

If you are looking for a luxurious stay in Mykonos with the most amazing vegan food and customer service then book a stay in Koukoumi. As soon as we arrived the staff were polite and accommodating. They checked us in and provided us with a refreshing drink. We were then shown to our beautiful room which was very clean and spacious. The pool was beautiful with plenty of bed available each day. We also had a 30 minute complimentary massage included in our package. We then ended up booking two more massages as they were so good. They were very professional and personalised the massage to our needs. We booked a meditation session which my partner and I loved. My partner also book a PT session with Alex. He talked through his diet regime and provided training he could use once returning home. Now the food! What can I say! If you are vegan (or not) you will taste some amazing dishes. We went for full board so we had the opportunity to try nearly all the dishes. The breakfast was spectacular with so many options. The vegan strawberry filled croissants were delicious! There was a buffet breakfast and you could also order a cooked breakfast too. the pancakes and the scrambled tofu were my two favourite breakfast dishes. For lunch, I loved the chicken Caesar salad. The chicken coating was so crispy! At dinner we were again spoilt with unique flavours. One of my favourites was the risotto! The chef is a fantastic cook and there was not one dish that was disappointing. We stayed for three nights and were disappointed to leave. If you are looking for a beautiful vegan retreat to relax with holistic and well-being and eat some amazing food definitely choose Koukoumi!

Perfection. The whole vibe of the hotel is elegant, luxurious and serene. In all aspects of the hotel, it is is clear that attention has been paid to the tiniest details but it all feels effortless! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left - we couldn’t fault anything. The staff are the epitome of welcoming, warm professionalism. Throughout our entire stay, the staff were always on hand for anything we could possibly need and so lovely and friendly. The food is delicious. There’s a real sense each dish is crafted to create an experience. And it does! It is vegan fine dining with the warmth of home mixed in. The variety of what’s on offer is fantastic and we loved trying out the 9 course menu too! Not only is the food exceptional, the presentation is incredible too. We did the plant based inspirational cooking class for two which was brilliant. We loved learning some tricks of the trade when it comes to vegan cooking and the whole set up felt intimate and special. It was a lovely experience! We also took part in 2 yoga classes which were a great start to our morning. Revitalising! We will be returning to Koukoumi next summer and we hope the summer after that too! We could not recommend this hotel more to vegans and non vegans. It’s perfect for everyone!

We had the most amazing time in koukoumi hotel!! First of all, the peak of the experience is the absolutely amazing food! We stayed full board and every single meal was out of this world. Do not miss on the lunch menu - we liked it the most :) We also have to note the amazing staff - welcoming, calming, smiling! Not trivial at all! The room was cozy and comfortable. No issues at all. The gym is very well equipped. The pool is refreshing and beautiful. If you're looking for a beach we should note the it's not adjacent to one, but we didn't find it an issue for us. Overall we had the best time and will definitely return

As I travel a lot around Europe for work, I know how difficult it is to find any vegan food, especially tasty, healthy vegan food! So when my girlfriend and I decided to do a holiday in Europe, a vegan resort sounded like a great option. And Koukoumi was. The food was far greater than I could have imagined. The chef is a culinary artist and alchemist of food! Amazing! Other wonderful extras were the exceptionally personal, caring and friendly staff; the magnesium swimming pool with many comfortable options for lying around; the gym that is equiped with such great functional equipment; great spa options (although a bit expensive for an Australian) and the bedding - like sleeping on clouds! Koukoumi are currently working on a yoga hall and landscaping the surrounding gardens. I can only imagine it will be as tasteful and beautiful as the rest of the resort. We loved our stray and I hope to return for another rejuvenating, nurturing holiday. Thank you Koukoumi Team!

The staff are incredible. Super friendly, helpful and understanding. I stayed 4 nights last week with a friend who had a separate room. Room: I experienced a few issues during my stay. Firstly the room wasn’t clean on arrival, rubbish and hair were on the floor. This was swiftly dealt with by the housekeeping team. The safe wasn’t working, this was fixed by the maintenance man. Then the toilet was leaking. They couldn’t get a plumber to attend until the next morning so they offered to move me rooms in the evening, which I accepted. I transferred my belongings into the new room and as we’d had an early start travelling that morning, I looked forward to a restful nights sleep. However when I pulled the sheet to got into bed, several bugs were crawling around, two were even inside the pillowcase! It felt like no one had used that room for several days. I was instantly put on edge as my head had literally just been on that pillow! As it was late evening, housekeeping were not available so I had to wait until the following morning for the sheets to be replaced. I had a very unsettled night thinking bugs were crawling over me. I also was woken up in the middle of the night as the router that was taped to the wall fell down. To be honest, even after they replaced the sheets the following morning the subsequent nights were also unsettled as I continued to find bugs throughout the room on the floor/on the sofa. The router was again stuck to the wall but it later fell down again. Wardrobes do not have the length to hang anything longer than a shirt up. No where to hang long dresses. Restaurant/food: The food is incredible. Very well thought out, unique and flavoursome. Breakfast had good buffet options. The only option for dinner is fine dining which is very limiting and expensive if you are staying at the hotel. A 3 course meal costs around 65€-70€ without drinks. This isn’t sustainable every night and we felt some non fine dining options (like what’s on offer for lunch) should have been made available for hotel guests. The portions for both lunch and dinner are small but very unique and flavoursome. Average price for a one course lunch was 20€. Cocktails are around 16€ and a non alcoholic cocktail averages 12€ Building work: They are expanding the hotel and as such there is constant loud building work noises that start in the morning and continue throughout the day and into the evening. We felt this should have been communicated ahead of our stay as it was disruptive. Gym: The small gym wasn’t accessible in the mornings during our stay as it had been booked out for private sessions. It wasn’t possible to move any of the equipment out of the gym to use elsewhere during these sessions. Payment: At check out, reception had issues with the card machine and as such we had to be emailed a link to settle our invoices. This delayed our departure and we were 15 minutes late leaving. Overall I felt a bit disappointed with our stay especially in line with the room rates and food costs. We had an incredible time but the little things matter and really frame an overall experience. I really hope they can iron out these issues before the expansion is complete.

What an experience! Amazing people and service. Food from the outer space that helps you appreciate the smallest things beneath your feet and takes you back to a memory lane. Shows how sustainability and luxury can easily be married. Can’t really recommend enough.

Firstly i'll start by saying I have never been as sad to leave a hotel as I was Koukoumi - we really got to know all the staff (something ive never had before in a holiday) and felt so well looked after and that they really cared. I spoke to the owners, the chef, all the waiters/waitresses and bar staff and everyone was so helpful and friendly (and some really made me laugh - you know who you are ;-). The food was the best vegan food I have ever eaten (and I have eaten in some of the best in London, LA, Sydney etc) and to be able to eat anything for breakfast, lunch and dinner all in the hotel was a real treat. From sushi to the Seitan (just try it!), to the risottos and pasta mind blowing. The breakfast in the morning nearly made me cry I was so happy with the buffet options with healthy options like smoothie bowls, chia puddings and then the hot items like the onion and spinach tarts etc and then to be able to order additional food like chickpea omelettes and avo toast - it was like a dream. Having vegan croissants and sweet treats for after was also a treat. We used the gym several times (again something I dont normally do on holiday but it had everything you could possibly need), I had an amazing massage, and a beautiful yoga class. We left here feeling so utterly refreshed, happy, nurtured and looked after. We hired a car for a few days and ate outwith the hotel for one lunch and night it was awful ... we wished we hadnt. Thank you all so much for making these 6 nights of our 6 week europe trip the best part. I could go on but honestly just trust me it is an amazing hotel. PS living in Australia we love our coffee and it was great too ;-)
