We had the most wonderful and relaxing stay here. The room had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed playing croquet in the garden and exploring the picturesque local area. Richard was an exceptionally friendly and welcoming host and we look forward to returning again!

A huge 'thank you' to Richard, Huw and Carol. We came here to relax and chill out in a beautiful part of Wales and Penbontbren was the icing on the cake. The suite was so comfortable and the attention to detail was second to none. The breakfasts were delicious and we loved the use of the locally sourced products such... More

My boyfriend and I have just spent 2 nights in the garden suite and loved it. Everything was lovely and the attention to detail was exceptional. I had a delicious vegetarian breakfast each morning , and Richard suggested places for us to visit during our stay. The gardens are beautiful and sitting outside our suite was so peaceful , you... Can't thank you all enough for an wonderful couple of nights. Both me and my partner fell in love with your location and approach to service. The garden room is quaint luxurious and perfect to unwind. Coming from central manchester we are used to noise and hustle. This was such a tranquil treat. The staff were all absolutely focused on... We visited here with our 2 dogs for 5 nights in one of the luxury suites. It is in a truly lovely countryside setting yet only a 5 minute drive from the beach. The suites are spacious with all you could need and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious with lovely fresh local ingredients. Richard, Huw and Carol were exceptionally friendly... More

First visit to Penbontbren and West Wales. We had a wonderful time.Penbrontbren should not really be classed as a B&B it is far superior.A self contained cottage, six top notch suites and a separate garden suite in which we stayed for three nights. Everything was faultless, White Co. linen and toiletries, well stocked mini fridge and welcome tray. Breakfast is... More

The accommodation, overall quality, idyllic secluded gardens make Penbontbren a superb and unique base to explore the wonderful Cardigan coastline from. It is expertly run by Richard, Huw and Carol who provide efficient, courteous and helpful service in every respect. The top quality breakfast served in a... More

This is a lovely B&B - the rooms are very spacious (all of them have a bedroom, a sitting room as well as a little patio). The breakfast is amazing and most things on the menu are locally sourced. Richard is also fantastic at providing recommendations for nice walks in the area as well as restaurants. There is also a... More

The place is very quiet while remaining close to the sea shore by car. Style is modern but the suites are vey well designed. Breakfast is excellent and offers a luxury and relaxing start for the day. Congratulations

Penbontbren stands out a class above many many other B&Bs we have stayed in. From the cleverly designed and manicured gardens with a croquet lawn and wild rabbits, to the quaint yet modern suites, it can only be described as perfect. Located a few miles from the most idyllic beaches in Wales and not far from many a good eatery... More
