A basic hotel, however, clean and friendly staff. The rooms are not modern, and the bathroom quite small, however, sufficient for a one night stay. There is free parking around the hotel, if not a garage for Sfr 12.oo per night.

We asked a waiter, in Biasca, for a place to sleep. He recommended al Giardinetto. What a wonderful surprise. The proprietors are friendly, helpful, and eager to please. Parking was free, and the complementary breakfast was excellent with a good variety of quality foods from which to select. The room was clean, well situated, and comfortable.

I was traveling back home from Siena on my motorcycle and had decided that camping was fine when I was young but after 5 days camping and 1500 miles I needed a refuge . I turned up without a booking and was greeted by a pleasant couple at the reception who sorted out my stay . The room was ok...

Friendly welcome. Bedroom was basic. Bathroom needed upgrading, however everything worked. Breakfast was good, with fresh bread, fresh cheeses and cold meats. Location is central to the small town. From the railway station you need a 10-15 minute walk.

Most of this hotel is fine. We found that out when poking our collective nose in the rooms whilst they were being cleaned. However, the family room 11 is a joke. Two sets of bunk beds for two children and their parents..... No. No kettle, bedside table/ reading lights, no TV, no hair dryer, no minibar and most importantly, no...

We choosed Biasca as two night stop for business in the neighbourhood. Biasci itself is a journey worth, with his grottis, th old chirch, the pittoresque waterfalls, the old part of town and the big quarry of marble. Quite good possibilities for shopping.

Our room at the hotel was adequate, but there was only one chair in a double room. There was no aircon - nowadays we get that in Campaniles. We are early risers and at 6 am had to wait for the water to be hot enough for showering. The dinner was superb, the best lamb we could remember tasting, but...

We choose Biasca as a night stop coming from Belgium and going to Italy because it is about 800 km from Brussels. The little town turned out to be a nice place for the night, surrounded by mountains and we had a nice evening walk by the local little church. We had chosen the hotel after looking at the Michelin...

Safe, clean, decent hotel. I wonder how 3 stars have been granted. The bathrooms are very basic, no extras, no embellishment. Swiss-clean, tough. The restaurant deserves the highest rating for value fo money ratio and good efforts of the whole staff. The nearby St Peter's church is a medieval building with reinassance frescos. Must see.

A nice hotel in a nice city with a friendly staff. But above all a wonderfull restaurant and terrace with typical meals from the regio for a good price. A nice surprise when you're on the road.
