Hotel Hannigalp is just a few minutes walk from the bus stop through a beautiful ski resort which was very, very quiet! We went at the end of the summer season and before the winter ski season so there was hardly anyone there, giving it the feel of a deserted ghost town. However, the actual hotel itself is family run...

We picked this hotel specifically for the spa. And it was awesome! Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was fantastic. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Overall a great stay in a great hotel. A+

The rooms were modern, large and the shower was great after a long walk from Gruben. There was a small mix up with our transfer bags - but the manager was friendly and gave the whole group a free drink even though we weren't really inconvenienced. The pool and spa are outstanding with great views. We had half board and...

We booked on the TA recommendation from others. We had a great stay with a spectacular view of the Alps. The breakfast buffet was above average with the best croissants that I have had in Europe this trip. The room was spacious and had a large bathroom an shower. Only a block from the main area of town, it was...

We were very pleased with our stay here. We stayed in their secondary building with lower rates. Wi-fi was always available. Rooms were cozy and simply adorned and clean. Desk staff speak English sufficient to address all room, transport, and local area needs. The views were gorgeous. Breakfast was exceptional, with one of the finest spreads or meats, cheeses, breads...

The Hannigalp, family-run for 4 generations, has great service for a very reasonable price. Staff is incredibly helpful, multilingual. Rooms are simply furnished, but our bath featured nice toiletries, a huge shower (slippery porcelain shower pan, though), 7X mirror, hairdryer, decent lighting. Beds are very comfortable, with good mattresses, seersucker duvet covers and down pillows. Breakfast offers a huge array...

My wife and I stayed in Hotel Hannigalp for 1 night in December 2010. We stayed in a 2nd floor room that was very comfortable (better than the hotel pictures suggest). We dined in the hotel restaurant that night and the food/service was very good. We would use this hotel again.

We stayed at the Hotel Hannigalp for three nights in July 2010 and enjoyed a very pleasant stay. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable. We found the the hotel restaurant was of a good standard and there is also plenty of choice of eateries in the village. The views from the restaurant side of...

We stayed here while hiking the Tour de Monta Rosa and arrived later than we expected in a rainstorm. The staff were most helpful when we checked in. One of our party was coming up from the valley by train and they went to meet her at the bus stop with a little cart to bring her to the hotel....

This was our third stay at the Hotel Hannigalp. We have been there twice for skiing holidays (Feb. 2007 & 2008) and recently during the summer holidays. Our overall assessment is extremely positive! The positive points are: the hotel owner (Olivier Andenmatten) is very welcoming and always ready to help you. The hotel staff is extremely client-friendly. The rooms (ensure...
