We booked Schladming, Austria at the last minute and were fascinated by Sporthotel Royer & the town in general. The service was at SHR was excellent. We would single out Elona on reception and Nicoletta and Manfred in the restaurant as being excellent. They were so obliging and helpful. The "haunted restaurant" area, as we nicknamed it, with its pool...

This is a great hotel as it has so many facilities (swimming pool, lounge area, tennis courts, e.c.t) and the staff are very hospitable. We stayed in a room with a double bed and sofa bed, which was a perfect size for 3 people and was very spacious. Unlike other hotels, when you opened up the sofa bed there was...

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room and also the comfort afforded by the beds. The location of the hotel to the slopes is acceptable, we paid 34€ to leave 2 pairs of skis and boot below the gondola station which meant we did the 5 minute walk in trainers each day to and from the piste....

Very helpfull stuff, especially the local austrian origin stuff and the owners family, they just understand, what it means "hospitality". Top service, top food, very clean, perfect atmosphere, Christmas decoration, all our participants were very satisfied and will for sure come again...

If you say that this hotel is bad and unfriendly then you are WRONG! This place is my second home. First time I've been there in 2004 when I was 1 year old child. Everything in there is perfect: food, service and entertaiment. Outside the hotel there is a beautiful little town called Shladming. This is a Sporthotel so here...
