We booked this place because it had easy access to the airport via taxi or personal vehicle. Room was super clean. We had a cabin with our own bath. Other places on the property used a shared bath. There was a shared communal kitchen which was perfect. We ate our breakfasts/dinners there after buying supplies from the local grocery store. Our wifi in the room didn't work and the management was very responsive and provided us a solution within 12 hours. No complaints about the place and we would stay here again.

We stayed at one of the larger triple bed (twin beds and one sofa bed) cottages. We had a lovely stay.

The cottage is comfortable with a generously sized bathroom. Most appealing of all, each cottage has a nice large window staring out into the beautiful Icelandic countryside. Who needs a TV when you've such a lovely view? (To clarify though, there is also a large TV in each cottage.)

The location is fantastic, especially if you're planning to stay close to the airport to catch an early morning flight. The cottage is less than 10 mins' drive from the airport (and any car rentals next to the airport).

My only minor gripe is that the locking mechanism for the doors are a bit cumbersome, especially in windy conditions.

We stayed at one of the ensuite cottages for one night and we really liked it interior of the place, especially the bathroom. There are only a few pieces of furniture and modern touches.

The communal kitchen seemed handy too even though we only got in looking for some recycling bins which we never found in the end.

Nice, basic accommodations just a short drive from the airport. We stayed there the night before our flight out. Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. Communal kitchen area was nice and roomy. Bathrooms/showers were large, though they do require walking outside to get to them. Wifi didn't work great for us, but we were in the unit furthest from the main building (#8), too (it did have nice, unimpeded views out the back window, however).

We had a a great one night stay at the cottages, with comfortable beds in a cozy cottage. As we had to leave early to catch our flight, is was also very convenient with the check-in and check-out, we just got a code to pick up our key from the key box. The shared bathroom and common area with kitchen was clean and tidy, and an added bonus was the lovely view of the Icelandic countryside from our window.

1. It never was advertised that the showers and bathrooms were shared (instead of having one per room).
2. There is a freakin' series of steps to lock the bathrooms (which is counter intuitive and very much unexpected, only to realize this when someone comes in while the previously thought locked door wasn't in fact, locked
3. One of the two bathrooms' lock was faulty and simply couldn't be locked).
4. There is no staff whatsoever available to address issues, and when Expedia reached out to the property owners, they simply didn't care about said issue.

Room Tip: Expect to have to dress warmly to get to the showers, and hope the locks aren't broken.

This place is amazing. The cottage is cozy and minimal. The shared kitchen area is well organized with everything you may need and is quite large. The self check in was easy and fast. Overall this has been one of the best stays of our 10 day trip in Iceland.

Decent cabins, clean, lovely kitchen, nice environment. Overall, we loved our stay at the cottages!

However the wifi didn't work and it would be lovely to have at least a couple of glasses/cups and a watercooker in the rooms. We get the concept of the shared kitchen, but it's nice to be able to get a cup of coffee, tea or a glass of water in the evening without having to run to the shared kitchen. Also f.e. if you have to take medication before going to bed and do not have a bottle of water yourself. Also, there was no place to put your clothes... so you have to live out of your suitcase.

This hotel has nothing to highlight in particular, except the closeness to the airport. We arrived at 4.00 am and the process to check in was automatic, which made our arrival easier. Rooms are small, bathrooms are shared with other cottages in a common area. There is no breakfast offered, which would be an asset. The kitchen was neat and they have parking lot to keep the car.

While tucked in a neighborhood and less than 10 minutes from the airport, these sleek Scandinavian cabins felt tucked away their own little wilderness. Our two person cabin was so cozy and clean, and the shared kitchen area had everything one might need to make a quick meal . If I ever return to Iceland, I would definitely stay again, and will look forward to the hot tubs!
