I highly recommend this hotel. De rooms are spacious and clean. There's a very good atmosphere. Everybody is friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast very much. One night was definitely too short.

God 3 star hotel with 4 star price. Location is not bad. In a quiet area far from noise but in a walking distance from night life and central beach. Clean room and a Nespresso coffeemaker with Nespresso capsules. They only put 2 capsules and 2 sachets of shugar per day. You can not chage the temperature in the room because they locked the remote of the air conditioner and it always on 24 degrees. If you leave the air conditioner on and go out they come and turn it off. The Pool is small and there is no umbrellas. Breakfast is various but not tasty. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Finally the hotel is ok but the price is not for what you get. You can find better price for what they offer.

A fine 3 star hotel. We booked a big appartment which was nice and convenient with our baby son. Breakfast okay, not much variety every day but enough to choose from for everybody. However we brought our own fruits because they didn’t offer much. Nice swimming pool, but no umbrellas. A lot mosquitos in the shade. Not allowed to bring your own drinks to swimming pool. Beach ok, nothing special, very busy . We went to Vina beach twice, really nice and quiet (balkonaki).

This is our fifth year at this hotel and I still think it's wonderful place, kept with a lot of love and hard work! Everyday cleaning, comfortable beds, large refrigerator, good food, coffee and cocktails and nice service both from the owners and their team! Thank you, Ageliki for the warm welcome and the pleasant stay, we will come again for sure! Kisses, Dessi, Dimi and Dimitar

The rooms were decent - though once a week cleaning was too little. Food reasonable though not stellar and somewhat repetitive. Rooms clean. Decent sized. Staff generally friendly but not over the top. Hotel pool is small but a good respite at the end of the day or if the kids are bouncing off the walls and need a quick dip. For the price, good value. Friendly toward families. So good place if you want a mid-level hotel holiday in Stavros for your family. Few comments: 1) the bar doesn’t accept credit cards (sort of usual for Greece - no one here likes accounting paper trail). So keep close track of your bar bill and bring plenty of Euros with you. There are ATMs in town but the bank charges and exchange rates are absurd. 2) the beaches within walking distance are really not attractive. Very dirty water and very crowded. So count on taking a taxi down the coast sometimes for better beach and water. 3) the price gap for small stuff (ice creams, juice for kids, beer, etc) between the Hotel bar and the local markets is massive. So strongly suggest buying some of these items at the markets in walking distance and then storing in the (sizable) refrigerators in the room. Can’t consume them at the bar (against Hotel rules, logically) but for incidentals in the room, good option. Happy trails!

We stayed in the Electra hotel for 1 week in beginning of July. The rooms are clean and spacious, clean bathroom and balcony. Cleaning the room was just once a week, which imho is not often enough. Breakfast sweat and salty, croissants, yoghurt, musli, ham, cheese,... Dinner always choice between 2 meals and salads. Drink for dinner paid extra, costs more than in bar on promenade. Pool side is quite nice to chill, also covered by wifi. Bars and restaurants cca 5 min walk, beach 10-15min. What I did not appreciate was the AC for charge 7€/night. It's not 1999 anymore! Either higher the price of the room, or don't charge extra for such a matter of course. Second thing was someone from staff who started mowing the grass under the hotel restaurant just at the time of dinner, like that could not be done during the day, that was annoying.

“Electra Hotel” is situated in the northern end of Stavros on the foot of the north-east slopes of Mountain Stratoniko. Despite of the fact that the hotel isn’t very close to the beach (around 15 min on foot) its position is very convenient for the tourists that prefer calmness and silence. The hotel offers to the guests wide and clean rooms with balcony and all conveniences for one pleasant sojourn. There is beautiful inner courtyard with olive tree and other typical Greek plants. The outer courtyard of the hotel offers enough spacious area for relax with swimming pool, BBQ and garden furniture for coffee drinking. In the morning the guests could enjoy to reach breakfast with different cheeses and sausages, fresh vegetables and fruits, and of course Greek sweets. Beside during summer vacation the hotel could be very convenient during all seasons as starting point for trip to the landmarks of the surrounding area including to Mount Athos because the two harbors which propose a ship-transport to it aren’t very far off - Ierisos (47 km.) and Ouranoupoli (62 km.).

Be carefull ! The hotel will charged your crdit card and cancel the reservation if you are late becouse of sick hotel policy. Short summary: 1. Reservation I made via booking.com 2. We had a one-day delay in getting to the hotel. 3. We tried to call the hotel twice to inform you, unfortunately no one answered the phone. The Booking.com staff also had trouble getting through to this hotel. 4. The hotel canceled our reservation - I had to urgently look for another accommodation. 5. The hotel charged me full price for unused accommodation for 7 days. FRAUD. Scandal: simultaneous cancellation of the booking and a seven-day payment without the possibility of using the hotel. Third World. The Booking.com staff admitted that we were right, they tried to contact the hotel in our case but unfortunately - the hotel has such a policy. no sense. I recommend extreme caution.

Response from zisi, Owner at Electra Hotel
Responded Jul 31, 2018
Dear Mr Piotr, The truth is different from the one you write. Three days prior to the arrival you asked for a free cancellation of the reservation and immediately we answered that we do not accept free cancellation, according to our cancellation policy that you accept and agree to before you made the reservation. In case of no show, we have the right (again according to our policy) to charge the credit card for 100% of the reservation. We were waiting for you till 4:00 am although the check in hour is until 23:00. I tried to call you on the phone that you gave us through booking.com but there was no answer. We charged you for 100% of reservation and after 11 days when you realized that you had been charged you called me. You did not call me prior and you did not want to come the next day as you claim. You did not contact booking.com even, and they can prove that they had no call or a message from you for 11 days. I did everything according to the policy that is written on booking.com. I advise you next time to read more carefully the policies of Hotels. Best regards, Ageliki Zisi

The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious. The staff is very friendly and the garden is beautiful and well maintained. There is place to park. The breakfast is okay. The only problem in our rooms was that the bed is made of 2 mattresses. The emergency exit light in the bedroom is quite bright in the dark. Also we didn't notice umbrellas around the pool because the sun can be very strong. All in all it is a very nice and quiet place to stay and we would definitely recommend it for a quality accommodation in Stavros.
