Mythos Palace Resort - Adults Only receives mixed feedback from guests. While many admire the hotel's peaceful location and the stunning views it offers, opinions on room quality vary, with reports ranging from spacious and clean to dated and poorly maintained. The food at the hotel's restaurants, particularly the rooftop dining, is often highlighted, though some guests feel the all-inclusive package falls short, citing unexpected charges.
Experiences with noise level and service also differ, with some enjoying the quiet and attentive staff, while others note construction disturbances and inconsistent service. Despite these contrasts, the cleanliness and lively evening entertainment generally earn positive remarks from visitors.

All the reviews below are accurate but are also based on individual perception. So here’s mine. Agreed that all the staff are amazing, attentive and always willing to go the extra mile for you.
Buffett restaurant food is good and served by staff to eliminate everyone touching the utensils. Beds in the room are very firm but we did not mind and slept well. The room A/C is exceptional and it runs all day even if the card is removed from the electrical slot thing...!!
We spent all our time at the pool bar pool, there is another pool, but no bar. Beds and umbrellas aplenty and yes these are as comfortable as they look in the pictures. As stated below in another review there was an issue one day with drinks not being served in the pool & yes a couple did a lot more than heavy petting......!!
We hired a car for two days on our second week. Cheap I thought at a €100 with insurance and no deposit required. We went to Corfu town 1st day (lots of gift shops but a great change of scenery and food) then to a sandy beach on the 2nd. St. George’s bay I think, Northwest on the Island from Mythos Palace.
Talking of beaches the one at Mythos Palace is not sandy and if you want to sunbath on the Jetty the sun is usually gone by 12pm as the trees give shade at this time. The beach is pebbly and thin but does use the comfy cushioned sun beds not the rubbish blue ones as shown in some images.
We had two evening meals at the poolside restaurant which was very good, a set menu with drinks. One per week included in the All Inclusive deal.
We did not eat at the rooftop which is payable as are the drinks. We ended up here most nights of our second week as we found the drinks to be worth the cost as apposed to the complementary ones at the pool bar in the evening.
WASPS. Yes there are wasps!! At the poolside bar they are everywhere where people leave their drinks on the side of the infinity pool and the wasps want the syrup from cocktails etc..
Also at the beach bar restaurant at lunchtime. Worth a visit as the food is great with a good menu and included in AI. If the wasps are bothering you ask for a coffee smoker as this keeps the wasps at bay. You kinda get used to them after a while I never knew anyone get stung. If you have a phobia about such thing maybe staying in the UK would work best for you rather than a trip to a hot sunny island?
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, read the reviews as we did and make the choice. Sure there is room for improvement but I think the price paid for the service, food and entertainment was excellent. Not a 5 a star hotel, you would need to pay £1000 extra to enjoy that level of service More like a 3.5/4 star. A 5 star hotel would have waiter service at the pool and insist you wear long trousers for the evening meal which was never the case when we stayed.
Any questions happy to answer.
If you go enjoy your stay as we did.

Firstly I will say that as others have commented, this is not a 5 star luxury hotel, but then you're not paying 5 star luxury prices for it. It is however a very well put together resort, and the staff are fantastic and will do what they can to make your stay fantastic.
When we arrived, we were upgraded to the plunge pool room, which was a wonderful treat and totally unexpected. Having this was wonderful and allowed us to have a quiet pool experience, although as mentioned elsewhere it would have been a nice addition to have a sun lounger in the patio area here. The room itself was large, clean and nice - my only comment is the bed and pillows are incredibly firm (too much for my liking), but softer pillows are available on request.
The buffet food was ok - nothing special, but exactly what I expected for a mass catered canteen style dining. The staff were serving the food to minimise contact of hotel guests with the food and serving utensils. I'd highly recommend going to the pool bar for lunches (included with all inclusive) and book your one dinner in quickly as they get booked up fast.
On this point - we were staying to celebrate our one year anniversary, and were unable to book the poolside restaurant for the evening of that day. To remedy this the hotel gave us a complimentary dinner in their rooftop fine dining restaurant, which was absolutely phenomenal, with excellent service by Giorgos. There is also a cocktail bar up here with pay for cocktails, but the spectacular view and fantastic cocktails made this worth it, and we returned for cocktails at sunset our final night.
Overall, this was excellent value for money and we enjoyed our stay. There are a few small improvements to be made but the staff were phenomenal and the hotel is clearly just finding its feet.

Just returned from Corfu holiday having stayed at this new, but exceptional, all inclusive hotel, the Kairaba Mythos Palace.
What can I say about this .... it’s all good. The service we received was fantastic in all areas which included the a la carte roof top restaurant and cocktail bar, beach bar and restaurant, the dining room, all bars and room service staff. The team is efficiently and professionally headed up by a friendly management team who are quick to deal with any problems, although we can honestly say we did not have any.
The rooms were large and airy and well equipped with everything you could need with great sea and mountain views and the housekeeping staff cleaned daily. Great air con and fresh linen and towels daily. The hotel also offers beach/pool towels to all guests which is another bonus.
The pools are both infinity pools with lots of sun beds and sun brollies and the views are spectacular.
Access to the small beach is on the edge of the hotel which also has sun beds and the sea was warm and clear ..... breathtaking!!!
We visited the Rooftop a la carte restaurant for dinner three times during our 10 day stay to celebrate two birthdays and an anniversary. Definitely would recommend this as making our celebrations very special with fantastic food, wine and exceptional service.
Well done and we will definitely be back.

The reviews of this Hotel are very mixed, but whilst I was there you could clearly see that Management is listening to feedback/complaints as changes were made throughout the week.
Pros
* Quiet Location
* Really nice modern bedrooms
* Choice of 2 lovely infinity pools (one with swim up pool bar), plenty of good comfy sunbeds with thick mattresses, there is a boardwalk with steps into the sea with comfy sunbeds added (dodgy broken metal ones were removed part way through the week)
* you can request your pool towel be changed regularly, I just swapped mine with the cleaners when they were near my room
* Golf buggy to transport guests down/back from sea / beach / 2nd pool area as walk back up is short but very steep
Cons
* No explication of facilities at the hotel on arrival.
* Whilst I was there, no space to sit out in the evening that wasn't part of a restaurant if you wanted to keep to all inclusive, aside from 4 tables in the car park. You could pay to use the Rooftop bar which isn't included in the AI package. After speaking with the Manager he confirmed the pool bar was reopening from 25 July. However all outside seating is dining tables and chairs rather than casual sofas etc so I ended up reading my books sat outside in the restaurants which was quite isolating for a solo traveller, no real opportunity for chatting with others.
* Entertainment was mainly just music accompaniment during dinner or at the Rooftop bar, nothing to engage guests to join in
* Buffet resturant had limited seating outside meaning queuing but I never had to wait long.
* No minibar or tea/coffee in room due to government rules re Covid. Whenever I got drinks to take back, pepsi max cans were always poured into plastic cups so you couldn't put them in the fridge yourself (I bought cans myself from the supermarket), until my last day when I was told the cans were just for taking to the rooms??
* As per a lot of comments the beds and pillows are so firm, quite uncomfortable.
* Bedding not changed unless requested, but the cleaners are doing more than the government requirements in what cleaning they are doing.
* No do not disturb signs
* The Hotel website describes the beach as 'Pristine', its definitely not that. Its a very narrow shingle beach with flimsy metal sunbeds. On the plus, the beach or boardwalk sunbeds do get a nice sea breeze.
* Due to Covid the Hotel can't offer a room to freshen up if you are leaving the Hotel hours after the 11am check out. By default you have to pay for your room extension unless you want to change in the Hotel Reception WCs
I do think this is a nice hotel, but there are definitely improvements to be made. Considering the price I paid I never did understand why they market the hotel as 'Ultra' All Inclusive or All Inclusive 'Plus' as nothing special stood out, maybe I missed it?

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write this review and we very much appreciate all the feedback in order to improve our services and facilities. We are very happy to know that you liked the peaceful and serene location where Kairaba Mythos Palace is situated, the modern aesthetically pleasing rooms, the two pools with beautiful views and the comfortable sunbeds. We would also like to thank you for recognizing the hard work that all the staff members are dedicating in showing our guests. Our goal is to exceed our guest’s expectations and ensure they have an unforgettable stay. For this reason upon arrival during check-in we provide all guests with information with regards to Facilities and Operations. In particular beverages and cocktails are enjoyed at the Beach Bar which opens from 10:00am until 23:00pm for Cocktails and Beverages. Drinks are also served within our Lobby bar which opens from 09:00am until 00:00 hours. Finally we have an alternative option, the Pool Bar which serves from 10:00am until 00:00 hours. We are happy to inform you that our Main Restaurant which is part of the All- inclusive Package holds various Theme Nights. In particular on a Monday we hold a Fish Theme Night, on a Tuesday it is Greek/ Corfiot Night, on a Wednesday it is Tex Mex Mexican Night, on a Thursday it is International Night and on a Friday we hold an Asian Night. We also have a Venetian Theme Night on a Saturday and hold a Gala Dinner on a Sunday. Furthermore in all of the hotel’s outlets including the Main Restaurant, the Pool Bar and the Beach Bar we provide a Live Saxophonist player, Duet Live Traditional Music and a Guitarist on various nights. With regards to the Mini-Bar service due to COVID-19 and adhering to the legal regulations unfortunately the hotel does not provide the Mini-Bar Service as it is necessary to minimize the contact of staff with the guest. However we are happy to provide you with drinks that you can take back to the room. Additionally due to COVID-19 we are unable to provide a shower room to ensure hygiene safety. In the meantime the Housekeeping is performing a cleaning service on a daily basis which can also include the change of pillows for softer ones and the placement of Do not disturb signs. Finally our beach offers sunbeds, decking area, umbrellas and is known for its natural beauty from which you can delight in the clean and crystal clear waters. We would like to kindly thank you once again for all your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel at some point in the future. Kind Regards, Kairaba Mythos Palace Team

Came here as a solo traveller for 5 days in September, got an absolute bargain for £255 for the hotel..."ultra inclusive" which i still don't understand what the difference is between that and all inclusive??
I'm sorry to say but this hotel is the most unwelcoming hotel I have ever stayed at. Staff make no effort to ensure you are having a good time. I had a much longer conversation with the women in the shop at the airport that I did with anyone inside this hotel! It seems like there is to many guests for the staff to deal with And they are very pressurised to deal with them all!.
Food is not self serving in the buffet area which is fair enough due to covid! But it feels like when dealing with the serving staff you are a hindrance and its like your asking for to much when you ask what you want to eat. Food isn't labelled up so its hard to know and feel like if you ask they are annoyed that you have asked them! Food was quite tasty and the al la carte food was delicious, but the the waiters once again seem like they just want you in and out!
Rooms were very spacious and the bed was like a concrete slab, which I don't mind but I know many people would hate it. Stylish rooms and the bathroom was very nice.
Pool areas were very busy and its hard to get a sun bed, unless you get there early or wait in the beach bar nd wait for someone body to depart from there, then its a mad dash.
The beach is just pointless! I didn't even consider going there, I don't know how they can advertise they have a beach its quite laughable.
Entertainment was a joke, whilst I was there for 6 nights they had 2 nights of entertainment, the other nights I just stayed in my room after dinner as there was nothing to do and nowhere to go.
Actions in regards to covid were spot on and impressive, everybody wore masks throughout the resort and a lot of cleaning was done.
Parking was a nightmare if you got to the hotel after 6pm. You'd have to park at the bottom and walk up the hill.
Overall an average hotel, I think I got value for my £255 but would I stay here again? Probably not, and I'd be extremely disappointed if I paid £400/500 + for this holiday.
If you want 5* luxury with a nice beach stay at mayor pelekas monastery where the staff actually acknowledge you and make you feel welcome! Unlike this place.

Dear valued guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide your informative feedback, we endeavour to improve our services and of course your comments will be forwarded to the relevant departments for their attention. In the meantime we would like to sincerely thank you for complimenting the cleanliness of the hotel. Since the beginning of this season we have taken all necessary actions in order to implement the Government’s Protocols and legal regulations according to the health authorities in facing this difficult period together and to guarantee a stay as "COVID-FREE" as possible. We feel strongly about obtaining a great sense of responsibility, attention and care to protect the health of our guests and of our staff during their stay. For this reason you may have noticed that during the buffet it is indeed served by one of our members of staff in compliance with the health indications and the protection of all our Guests and collaborators. Particularly for this reason all our members of staff have to wear masks and gloves in all in closed common areas and change them according to the health protocol. We were concerned to hear that you were disappointed with the service during the buffet meal experience at the hotel and we would like to apologise for any inconveniences. Our main priority is to provide the highest quality of meals with regards to the food experience hence on many occasions we receive the highest compliments for all of our food outlets especially with regards to the service. For this reason all the members of staff are passionate to exceed the guest’s expectations and assist them during the meal experience. Furthermore we are happy to provide our guests with music entertainment on a daily basis, seven days a week around the Pool Bar or at the Roof Top restaurant depending on which day it is. In addition may we kindly inform that Kairaba Mythos Palace offers two car parks for our guests hence a reservation for a car park space is not necessary. Finally we have a beautiful beach with a mixture of sand and pebbles and a gorgeous mountain view in the background. It is exceptionally great for swimming and snorkeling. May we also kindly inform you that this side of the island is also greatly suitable for Stand Up Paddle board due to its tranquil and calm waters. We were sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the facilities and services. We hope that we have the opportunity of welcoming you back at Kairaba Mythos Palace in the future despite your disappointment on this occasion. Best regards, Hotel Management Kairaba Mythos Palace

We've recently returned from a week's stay at the hotel and had a great time. We would definitely return. This new hotel has had a difficult start having to operate to accommodate the myriad of COVID restrictions but has done a sterling job. The hotel is impeccably clean and the food is simply the best we have ever had at an all inclusive hotel. Just ask at reception upon arrival if you require a kettle and tea and coffee and they will get it sent to your room.
You get an a la carte meal included at the Beach Bar and the food was exquisite - top marks to the chef and his team! The location is stunning too with panoramic views across to mainland Greece. The sea is beautifully calm and like a lake at times with numerous shoals of fish at the shore line and jetty. It's a quiet area with only a few tavernas, a shop and an excursion centre nearby so if you are after foam parties, McDonalds and all night bars then this isn't the location for you!
The General Manager, Alex, is very approachable and keen for feedback, both positive and negative. He's a great asset to the hotel as they literally got the keys a fortnight before they opened so the team have had to hit the ground running.
There are a few niggles (hence not giving an excellent rating) such as the sun lounger mattresses being very wet every morning, inevitably meaning some get mould patches. The bed mattresses are very firm, which suited us, but we both found the pillows very uncomfortable. Again the staff were happy to provide softer ones on request.
The footprint of the downstairs bar and lobby areas also need a re-think, to provide some atmosphere and also accommodate more people when the weather isn't favourable.
Also the conflict of the rooftop bar being excluded from the all inclusive package and sometimes being the only area with entertainment, just doesn't sit right. The hotel is either all inclusive or it isn't!
Alex is aware of all of these points and plans are afoot for change during the off season. The team really have done an excellent job in a difficult first season.
As I said previously, we had an amazing time and would happily return.

We recently stayed in the Kairaba Mythos Palace for a week. We opted for bed and breakfast as opposed to the all in package. It was a good choice for us as we like to eat offsite and there are three local restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is only a couple of years old and it well fitted out with lots of marble, good use of light. We booked a superior sea view room with a nice balcony- recommended
The hotel is promoted as a 5 star hotel but in our opinion it is a good 4 star at best.
Positives:
Staff well trained, always smiling and willing to assist
Resort location is quiet / by the beach and crystal clear sea water
Service in the restaurants was excellent
Good Covid 19 protocols
Internet was good in the hotel
Negatives
Our toilet would not flush regularly and the cleaning staff told us to thump the wall above the cistern and that will trigger it to fill and then one can flush. We did not report it to the reception as it appeared to be an on going problem.
The door to the bedrooms close themselves but the mechanism needs to be adjusted as all we could hear in the evenings and the mornings were doors slamming.
The walkway down to the lower pool was very steep and they should consider putting in some steps which would make it easier to walk.
The pool areas has a lot of concrete and in the high temperatures it becomes excessively hot. They should look to tone down the impact of the concreted areas and make them more relaxing to the eye. Again the area outside the reception is all concrete and with some forward thinking they could make it look more relaxing. There is just too much concrete.
This is large hotel ( 276 rooms) and one of the the objective is to fill the rooms and with such a large volume of people, certain qualities are traded for volume.
Overall, it is a nice hotel but if you are hoping for 5 star you might be somewhat disappointed.

Arrived for an 11 night stay, relaxed process for check in with a welcome drink! We had a superior room with sea view, 4th floor of the main building which gave us a great view. We stayed all inclusive, good choice of drinks, good variety of food at breakfast. Restaurant has themed evenings and we had a good choice of buffet food every night. Some lunchtimes we ate at the beach restaurant which has a good menu, good service, lovely view and more relaxed than the main restaurant. Variety of entertainment in the evenings, either round the pool bar or at the roof top bar. On arrival all guests are given a voucher to book a taster meal at the beach restaurant, which is included in the stay. This was really lovely and the service was very good. Also ate at the roof top restaurant, this is a la carte and payable but definitely worth it! The service was excellent and the view is amazing! Towel vouchers are given on arrival which can be collected from the spa from 10am and returned by 6pm or just keep them until the next day and exchange them then. No issues getting a sunbed at any time of day. Booked 2 excursions, we used the travel centre down the road as this seemed slightly cheaper. Would definitely recommend the evening boat trip to Corfu town and also the day trip to the Blue Lagoon. All the staff can’t do enough for you, Ria was especially helpful and able to give advice and help with any issues
The only negative from the whole holiday was the pools! The pool bar is designated as the quiet pool!! Far from it! It started off ok however by day 5 some couples arrived and had inflatables in what is quite a small pool, however the website states no inflatables allowed and the lifeguard did nothing to stop the couple having a very large inflatable doughnut!! The afternoons then got more alcohol fuelled and very noisy and the language!! These couples all went to Kavos in the evening so were clearly in completely the wrong resort. This hotel is in a remote tranquil location and although there was a wide range of ages most couples were there for a very quiet chilled holiday.
Would definitely return and explore more of the area and islands.

Just returned from a week at Mythos Palace, upon arrival we were seated in the lobby with welcome drinks and the hotel looked clean and modern. Our cases were disinfected before being taken to our disinfected room. The room was a side sea view which had a big bed a balcony. As stated in previous reviews there were some minor things like the wardrobe door not opening properly and the room door being stiff, however this had no effect on how much we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast had lots of variety you could get omelette made to order. Lunch in the main restaurant was nice, however we chose to eat in the snack bar outdoor restaurant most lunches as you could order greek food from the al a carte menu. We only ate dinner in the main hotel restaurant twice due to there being so many nice seafood restaurants near the hotel. The hotel food was fine though. We also had the five course dinner that you get once in your 7 night stay and it was a lovely experience. All inclusive beer, Cuba libre, rose wine were all good. I asked for magaritas one night and they made them as part of the all inclusive. Went to rooftop bar one night where you pay for drinks and the cocktails were great but the service was slow. All in all a great holiday in a lovely location and I felt very safe and not worried about covid. I would recommend doing a mountain bike tour, you can book this at reception it was such a good way to see lots of the coast line with a great tour guide Demetris. I would return to this hotel without a doubt

At it’s all best this hotel is definitely not a 5*. (But before I get into it I want to thank the beach bar staff for being so welcoming and making our time enjoyable only people who make you feel welcome, and our maid on our room clean would always come when it suited us so we could leave the room when we wanted and still have it cleaned she was so lovely and only reason for the 2 star) so anyway Me and my boyfriend took it up on chance with all the COVID going off just to have a relaxing time off work as we where the ones who had to work through it. First of all on our second day we got asked if we wanted to move to a hotel that was more suited to us because we was obviously younger what we found very rude and unwelcoming, Second of all the food was inedible we tired numerous times to eat at the buffet and it was almost pretty much the same dried up food everyday that looked like it would be sat for hours, forgot to add my boyfriend asked for a plate and they wouldn’t give us one baring one mind everyone else was walking around with one felt like we get singled out because of our age dirty look central! Up on arrival we had absolutely no information on what was available to us and that we had to book the 6 course meal at the beech bar or we had to book the roof top bar mostly found this out from other guests who we spoke to at the hotel. I wouldn’t even recommend the roof top bar we tired going up for food before we knew about booking and got turned away as they couldn’t speak any English, they hide all the good drinks up there like the Malibu, absolute vodka, baileys you won’t find any of that even if you pay all inclusive and for two drinks you pay€20. The rooms are average for a 5 start and the beds feel like you’re laying on rocks and the pillows feel like sandbags didn’t get one decent night sleep in a week, my boyfriend ended up with a stiff neck and sleepless nights what isn’t what you want on a “relaxing” holiday. They was also a lifeguard that always had eyes on us because we was more the younger generation everywhere we went he would be watching us in the pool areas so uncomfortable we had to complain about it. We had to order pizza most nights to an all inclusive hotel. They is nothing around the hotel apart from a small shop and a tourist information center, if you want to book into town go down to the center as it’s €15 cheaper than the hotel for the exact same boat trip. The only entertainment is a small band who is usually based in the roof top bar where you have to pay, coincidence, I think not. They is nothing to do at night time and is pretty boring I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Dear valued guest, Thank you for your review. When you booked the Kairaba Mythos Palace to enjoy your holiday, you expected the highest standards of service and this indeed is our main goal. With regards the Ultra All-inclusive package we provide premium drinks the Beach Bar, the Lobby Bar and the Pool Bar which all of them close late at night. Our main priority is to provide the highest quality of meals with regards to the food experience hence on many occasions we receive the highest compliments for all of our food outlets. The hotel doescsomectrips, as do the holiday company reps. These are on the holiday company websites. There isxalso a local tour agency just next to the hotel called Boukari travel, if I remember right
The place is unquestionably horrid. I actually wrote my review as a laugh for the great people we met because without meeting them ourselves and the majority of the other people who were there would have gone home early. The place is so remote, the food is substandard, the staff are so unfriendly, the place is filthy and there’s absolutely nothing to do apart from drink their substandard offerings. DEFINITELY DO NOT BOOK THERE!! I wouldn’t even give them a 2star rating. Hope wherever you go you have a great holiday but stay well away from the Mythos Palace.
Hope this helps. Regards Sarah Hall.
You have about 5 cocktails to choose from which are repulsive and watered down!
