Another hotel that need air conditioning in Britain. I have been travelling around and have found this to be a consistent problem. If you are going to charge people 98 pounds for a room they expect amenities otherwise they just won't come. Room ok. Clean and fairly spacious. Hotel had parking and good internet. Breakfast so so.

We stayed for one night in September. We had a warm welcome and were quickly checked in and shown to our room. We were in room 10 - a lovely room with a four-poster bed. Quite a dark room but I didn't find it oppressive. We decided to have dinner in the bar (there is a little dining room too)... More

First the positives, the kingsize beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet. They had good quality dark wooden furniture (but that did not help with the light problem). There were ample supplies of tea, coffee and milk, and a pack of two biscuits. There were two bottles of water (but no fridge to keep it cool). There was a... More

We stayed here for a night in September. The room was lovely with a very modern shower room. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Booked if through bookings.com - reasonable rate

Sadly the great quality of the food was let down by the price of drinks here! San Miguel at £4.50 a pint and wine equally as expensive, is just not acceptable. Shame as the staff were very pleasant and as I have said the food was really nice. Come on Camden, lower the prices and people will drink more.

Our stay didn't start too well when two waitresses argued about where we should sit for dinner on the first night. This was resolved in five minutes and things were virtually perfect from then on. The food is delicious and really good value. The hotel is run by a lovely family. They are efficient without being quite as friendly as... More

This was our 6th stay at the Camden Arms and we can't wait to go back again. A lovely, comfortable and friendly hotel located in a charming village setting. Staff always pleasant and welcoming accommodation to a high standard. Large choice of food cooked beautifully. Nice large garden to relax in when weather good. Can't praise this hotel enough.

We just had 4 nights at this great hotel / pub. The staff area all very welcoming and friendly and the manager is very hands-on. It is a family-run concern and it shows compared with a chain hotel. Very extensive menu and the food is excellent with much of it prepared and cooked on the premises. Very good breakfast too.... More
