We were only staying one night and ended up with the 4 poster bed room. On a wet day in November the room was warm and clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was big and powerful. What more could you ask for? As football fans we were eager to watch the England Scotland game and fortunately found a...

We've been a number of times for dinner, both as a couple and with family. They have great home cooked food. Only criticism is that on two occasions with a group of 7, they really struggled and even missed one persons meal completely. their meal finally appears as 6 others finish... a bit awkward. Junior staff were nervous, inexperienced and...

We werre in Pembury for my sister's golden wedding anniversary and she recommenced this hotel. We booked in for a couple of nights. The hotel is an old coaching inn and the front part is still the original building with a fairly traditional bar which als doubles as the restaurant area. The room we had was in a modern extension...

We had booked 2 rooms to be able to attend a wedding at High Rocks in Tunbridge Wells. The manager was extremely polite and helpful when we checked in on the Friday evening. The rooms although a bit dated with respect to the furniture were very comfortable and you had tea/coffee making machine, iron/ironing board and a nice size TV....

After the trauma of my husband being taken ill and being taken to Pembury hospital, (which is 3 minutes car journey, door to door from here), I needed somewhere last minute to stay. As the Mecure hotel next to the hospital was fully booked, their kind reception lady suggested the Camden Arms Hotel and phoned to reserve a room for...

I booked a table for 9 of my family to have Sunday lunch. Service was great and the food was amazing. Some of us had the carvery which was delicious and there were a couple of other main courses which were also great. All in all, a super afternoon and I look forward to going back very soon.

Went for Sunday lunch with a large group expecting to pay £10:95 as advertised but when you actually get there it is more expensive . Potatoes came out soggy - veg just watery and tasteless and as for the meat save an extra hour so you have time to chew it !!!! As for the price of drinks £7:20 for...

We stayed here before a wedding, the person who showed us to our room was lovely and very helpful. The room was a twin disabled room and had plenty of space. The beds were clean and very comfy. The room was a bit cold though, and i didn't notice a way to change this. There were good facilities in the...

Five of us pleased with the hot flavoursome food served from a carvery. Staff attentive..... and the place had a welcoming atmosphere. Puddings were delicious. Only criticism was the veggie nut roasts were a bit dry.
