I stayed for three nights at the George and Dragon in one of tha apartments in an annex. This was very new and needed a few finishing touches. there was no bedside tables or lamps and one of the bedroom curtains were missing, notwithstanding these slight shortcomings, which the management are going to address it was a very enjoyable stay... Stayed 2 nights, 27 / 28 Th May, Rooms small, light switches were too high and poorly located, you have to get out of bed to operate. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Problem came at check - out, someone had meals & drinks charged to my room and it was only with great reluctance that they accepted that it was... More

Only stayed one Saturday night in apartment 4. I thought that it would be just a room in the pub but was a small apartment. There is an oven, toaster, dishwasher and all the tools. The rooms were very clean and the wet room large. It could do with more curtains in the windows, but hay 😃😃. If your looking... More

When we walked in we were greeted by a lovely young lady who was solo looking after the bar, she was smiley and very polite. We asked for the menu and she gave us some advised us of the day's menu and encouraged us to take a seat (we had our frail family friend with us) she said she'd bring... More

Tried our local for an evening meal, and impressed by the standard of food served. Pleasant service, good atmosphere, varied menu with more than adequate portions. Also seemed to be a typical friendly village pub with local clientel enjoying their evening. This was not a B&B visit, just an evening meal. We will be back.

Tuesday 16th February 2016 We've just had a great experience at the George and Dragon in East Harling. We are on holiday at the moment and were looking to have an early dinner with our 5 year old and also bring our 9 month old dog so booked a table for 6pm. When we arrived our dog was being quite... Ideally situated in a lovely little town for our weekend at the Snetterton circuit race weekend. Friendly committed staff, very good food, crisp real ale from the bar and a comfortable bed. All we need.
