This is a quiet property where one can go and totally relax. There are a lot of scenic roads and hills around. There used to be a beautiful lake until about a decade ago which has sadly dried up. But it has a total country feel to it. Great for someone interested in trekking. I explored a couple of short treks to some nearby temples on the hills, but one can do a lot more. Not recommended for working from home as connectivity is patchy and internet is slow.
A very beautiful and quite place blessed with nature. Though, everybody in the hotel was welcoming but I would like to mention Mr Indresh for his exemplary service and can do attitude. He was very kind through out our stay.
Great Stay! Very warm and courteous staff. Great place for a weekend getaway. The food was also wonderful and customized to our preferences. Overall a great stay and experience. A very well managed resort with a rustic appeal of the royalty
Special mention to Mr. Mool SIngh Ji & Mr. Gyanchand for giving us a memorable & awesome experience, right from the arrival to check-out. Also, it was an enriching experience knowing the rich history of Ramgarh Lodge from the 2 gentlemen.
1. A historic place. 2. Their internet is really bad. 3. No running hot water in taps. You have to call them for hot water. 4. Drinks are very expensive. They have limited cocktails (very basic ones that also they don't know how to make ) - They charge Rs 500 for a 30 ml cocktail. Jai Mahal palace charges rs 600 for 60 ml & Rambagh palace charges Rs 900 for 60 ml. Which means they are more expensive than these other Taj properties in Jaipur. 5. Laal maas was very nice. Ghatta curry, average. Dal bati - good. 6. Mr Gujjar was very kind to serve us with staff meal for dinner. that was amazing hospitality. He rocks. 7. We requested for a late check out. A generous 30 minute was offered, when we were the ONLY PEOPLE in the property. Both Jai Mahal & Rambagh offered a 5 hours late check out.…
5 hours drive from Delhi with a PIT stop --Ramgarh Lodge is a quick getaway for couples with young children and for adults . Equipped with a pool table, shallow swimming pool --ample greens and a conference room the Lodge is ideal for a relaxing holiday . 25 kms off the Delhi Jaipur Highway --the Lodge is self contained with no outside distractions . Food is good and the staff courteous. Highly recommended.
The hotel is constructed with a classic British look that has really HUGE rooms. All the rooms are newly built. The hotel is located at the dam (unfortunately no water) but can witness the remainings of the dam and the infrastructure built around it. Although no midnight service was available, but the staff being very courteous stayed till late as requested as served us well.
We visited the property as family in April 2022. The property is at a secluded place but once you enter the premises, you will forget the world. The rooms are spacious and gives you a feeling of calm. The view of the Aravali and valley from the garden is breath taking. You will get to see so many beautiful birds. The hospitality of the staff really adds to the charm, especially Mool Singh ji and Ghanshyam ji. The food is really delicious and delivered as per your convenience. Do recommend the dinner in the garden near Bar. A must visit if leisure is on your mind.
Situated just 3.5 hours away from Delhi NCR it's a hidden gem..loved the rooms and hospitality extended by staff a must visit for small group of friends/family..don't miss early morning or evening walk around the property..can ask for guest cycles too from the staff..
