A modest family run guest house in the San Juan de Chucco area of the Colca Canyon. We were greeted by Domitilia after the hike down from the top of the canyon and she made us feel very welcome. The beds were very nice, but the walls a little thin (could hear the french family staying downstairs from us pretty... More

My husband and I hiked down to Roy's from Mirador de San Miguel our first day in Colca Canyon. The inn was a great place to stay after a long 4 hours of hiking downhill. We were greeted in the dark and shown a matrimonial room with private hot water bath. It was a simple room with concrete floors and... More

Great beds, hot showers, alpaca in the garden... what more do you want? The lady who runs the place is awesome, and a lot of the rooms have been refurbished I think, and big portions of food (unlike Sangalle, where you pay twice the price for little portions and get awful beds). I absolutely loved this place.

The owner wife (probably) domentila was very nice and funny. The food she makes is good. The hut we got had a beautiful view. And the best part, there are hot water! Dinner and lunch, 12 soles each, include soup main dish and a banana with honey. The breakfast is 2 delicious pancakes for 8 soles

We arrived here with a reservation that our hostel in Cabanaconde, Pachamama, had made for us. There was 6 of us and we had all reserved private rooms, but they only had a twin (we had requested a matrimonial) and then a 4 bed dorm. Not impressed with this and the rooms were really horrible! Yes it is in the... More

Long hike in the sun to arrive here, not so bad after all. There are showers, a toilet, a bed, and a door that doesn't close all the way, but hey it is a little better than camping, I mean did I mention a bed and bathroom? That's all I could ask on this short trip through the beautiful canyon.... More

The owner, Domitila, was very attentive to our needs. She clearly cares about her customers and is proud of providing clean rooms, delicious food and good customer service. Our room had a view to the mountains as it is near the end of the cliff. The owners are adding a new building with a great view. I got to see... More

If you want a lovely, cosy and clean place to stay forget about staying at any of the places at Sangalle. Casa Roy is a family run business where you are warmly welcomed by humble people, and are given a surprisingly good quality room with ensuite bathroom to stay in Minus the lack of electricity we felt it was on... It's a little hidden paradise in the Colca Canyon. We stayed with Roy the night before we were going to hike out of the Canyon, from where we had a great view on the impressive wall we had to climb the next day. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the bed was lovely and there is hot water. There was... More
