Beautiful hotel in excellent location. Service from arrival until departure was faultless. Raul gets a particular mention for being very accommodating to some extra needs re checkout. Am definitely going back there on the next trip, although prices appear to have rocketed since being taken over by Domes.

A quiet, luxurious understated paradise. From our arrival to departure everything about this hotel is five star. Check-in procedures are personalised and unlike most hotels, where queuing at a busy desk is the norm, not so here. Escorted to the lounge and offered a welcome drink whilst formalities and passports can be dealt with in comfort by friendly efficient staff. The location could not be more perfect. ‘Secret’ doors, accessible only with a hotel key , allow instant access to the busy buzzing marina area, full of life, bars , shops and restaurants. Not that this noisy vibrant area impedes the total peace and tranquility of the hotel gardens and grounds. As well as a child friendly pool , which has its own sandy beach, there is a second ‘more standard’ pool. No fighting for sun beds here….. there is a surplus . Domes as the name suggests, has its own natural saltwater lake , which will , later this Summer, have its own simple water sports facilities. The hotel was rebranded in April 2022 and the new exciting management team have ambitious plans to develop this corner of heaven even further. We were lucky enough to meet and spend some time with Joana, the Guest Relations manager. It is rare to meet someone so passionate about their place of work. Nothing was too much trouble. The main aim seems to be that guests are provided with everything and anything which will enhance their enjoyment of their stay at this lovely hotel. It deserves more than five stars.…

Would highly recommend this hotel Beautiful location Super clean rooms, great food , And Exceptional service . Efficient ,genuinely couldn’t do enough To make our stay fantastic . Wow what can i say,what a great place this is lovely pools,garden,rooms were lovely with massive tv,massive bed(never seen one so big and confy.All staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us,rita was first to show us around and she was lovely but all staff were especially at reception and bar.Will definitely be going back here as best position just away enough from the noise of Marina,but close enough to walk(aprox 8-10mins),beach around same which is massive and nice.Food at hotel was really nice.Only thing I would say is drinks were bit on expensive side.Thank you domes lake for great break 👌🏻😎

A lovely hotel with excellent pools and gardens and exceptional staff. From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much for them. From Joao and his team on reception to the staff in the restaurants and bars and the lovely lady who cleaned our room, they were all helpful and welcoming. There was plenty of space by the pool to find a quiet spot, the hotel and facilities were beautifully clean and the food was great. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Lake Resort for 6 nights in May. From start to finish the experience was amazing. We arrived early. Upon arrival we were ushered to a waiting area and given a welcome drink. The room was quickly made ready well before check in time. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The balcony had a great view of the pool area and beach. Breakfast was a definite highlight. We really looked forward to it each day. The location is brilliant. A 5 minute walk to a large beach and the Marina. The Marina has a lot of restaurants and bars. Moreover, the town of Quateria is close by. All in, an excellent stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and we are looking forward to returning in the future. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank the excellent staff esp. Rita and her team at the front desk and the people at the kids club. The recently rebranded Domes Lakes Resort has achieved and sustained a level of services, beyond the recognised 5* in our opinion. The personal attention we received from the Concierge on arrival, through to a totally hassle free check in. (The lemon citrus cinnamon welcome drink was so refreshing!) Having stayed at this resort a number of times, and this time being our 25 year anniversary the attention to detail we personally received is priceless. The rose petals and chocolates sprinkled on the bed, the time spent by every member of staff to ensure that our stay was memorable. We honestly never want to leave this piece of paradise. Joana, Rita and all the team at Domes Lakes Resort, thank you so very much for an amazing time. We will be returning to see you all soon x

Great location, excellent facilities, wonderful staff. The start of the day with a (free) yoga class, in the middle of the nature, followed by a good breakfast and a tan at one of the two pools...paradise. The place to be.

This is our favourite hotel in the whole world! We come back every single year for many reasons but the main being the staff and in particular Joana (Silva) who makes our dream trip every year so special, personable and absolutely nothing is a problem. It’s like a home from home again because of her good self but also because it is a very welcoming, chilled Hotel and just perfect in every way. After a long time over Covid not travelling and our first trip as family of 4, Joana ensured everything was perfect, put ting my mind at ease re the changeover to Domnes Lake (from Lake Resort). Kids club is great too. Location is more than perfect to Marina. We can’t wait for next year already! One small improvement would be the food in the hotel and drinks menu / food at the pool bar so we don’t ever have to leave. :-)…

This really is a lovely Hotel.....although it is a 5 star Hotel the atmosphere is very relaxed and not 'stuffy' as is the case in some 5 star Hotels. This is due to the friendly and helpful Staff who are determined to make your stay a good experience. They make a huge effort to satisfy your every need. Aside from that the facilities are superb and the location is fantastic. We intend to return in the Autumn.
