This hotel certainly does have the wow factor! it is beautiful both inside and out with lovely rooms and grounds. Spotlessly clean and all the staff are fantastic. We stayed for a week on a B&B basis staying in a garden view room on the second floor, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice both hot or cold. Our room was huge, the toilet is sepatate to the main bathroom which has a walk in shower and bath. A large comfortable bed with the best pillows I think I've ever experienced! There was plenty of cupboard and storage space and with the room being so big it never felt cramped or cluttered. There was a plate of fruit waiting for us on arrival, which we thought was a lovely touch, and bottled water was provided everyday. There is a mini bar/fridge with beers/spirits/chocolates etc however we didn't't use them as we felt they were expensive. A Nesspresso coffee machine and kettle are provided with plenty of coffee pods and teas bags which are replenished daily, as we prefer milk to the little cream/milk pods we bought a bottle of milk from a supermarket and kept it in the fridge. There was a turndown service each night with chocolates left on our bed. The hotel has 5 pools, one being a manmade beach with zero entry. Unfortunately with it being February they were far too cold for more than a paddle although it was warm enough to sunbathe. Towels are provided daily near to the pool bar. We used the spa facility on a number of occasions which is lovely and relaxing and included as part of your stay, there is an indoor pool with many jets to ease away any aches and pains, as well as a dead sea salt bath, jacuzzi, steam room sauna. Again towels are provided as well as day beds to relax on and herbal teas and water available free of charge. Treatments are available at an extra cost however we didn't try any of them. We used both of the bars within the hotel which are lovely with fantastic service however are on the expensive side for example €8 for a glass of wine, although in fairness this is in keeping with many of the bars and restaurants around the marina and it must be remembered that it is a 5 star hotel. The hotel is in a great location a 5 minute walk gets you to the expansive sandy beach where you can walk for miles and around 10 minutes to the marina area. All in all a fabulous hotel that we would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again the future.

The best of the best in vilamoura a place you can feel has really good facilities and superb location next to the marina what more can you ask for, The staff are very well mannered and helpful in all aspects. Special mention goes to Joane Silva guest relationship she will ensure your stay is not disrupted and will answer all you queries with huge smile. I will visit this hotel again and again as the staff made me feel very special. Breakfast is excellently served with excellent choice of food and drinks.

Got a really good deal to stay here with Golf Direct. 4 nights plus 3 rounds of golf. Hotel was really nice from what we seen. Didn't walk round the full grounds or outdoor pools or that as not hot enough weather wise. The rooms are your typical business hotel rooms, however I would say the TVs had one of the most comprehensive list of TV channels I have seen on holiday so plus points there. There are a few reasons for only giving 3/5. The prices here for food and drink are very expensive. An example of this, a single can of redbull costs €5. The minibar was also very expensive. The food I did have here was the buffet breakfast one morning. It had a really weird after taste of smoke, so couldn't manage more than a couple of bites. Not sure what caused this but didn't return for another breakfast because of this. The spa facilities are good, however quite run down and none of the features of the indoor pool worked. The rules also did not seem to be inforced here. One of the rules were no children in spa, however every morning whilst trying to relax, this was spiked by various kids cannonballing into pool. All in all, I would probably go back and would recommend the hotel to golfers.

We have just returned from an idyllic week at this glorious spa hotel. Everything about it from its extensive and wonderfully manicured grounds to the great breakfasts, lovely rooms and above all its attentive and ever supportive staff all serve make it one of the best hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in . We spent a lot of time walking on the beach and parklands adjoining the hotel but for those who prefer a more sedentary holiday the grounds of the hotel itself offer good exercise as does its gym. My wife used the spa treatment facilities and extols its qualities. Finally, a special thanks to the guest relations manager, Jona Silva, who could not have been more helpful - multo obragado,Joana.
