Fantastic gardens and pools although the weather was not so good in October. There are several pools and restraunts but eat outside as cheaper and better food. Would go back. Vilamoura is has great beaches and the Marina is a nice walk from the Old Village. Supposed to have free wifi but useless. Plenty of free in town.

The Old Village remains glorious to walk through and look at, the restaurants change slowly as is the pace of life a relaxing area, one notable change and a godsend an ATM outside Jaffers. There's always something a little different each visit.

Always a dodgy time to go on holiday we managed to choose the only wet weekend in Vilamoura this year. And how wet it was. Torrential rain accompanied by a very impressive thunder storm which lit up the sky with pink, blue and purple flashes. Once this passed, however, the weather reverted back to hot and dry. One local told...

Returned to the old village apartments Sept/Oct for the first time in 5 years. Not much had changed, the gardens are still very impressive and very clean. The apartment we had booked sadly had sustained a burst pipe the day before our arrival, so we had a reload, net appartment provide by Marco the owner. This apartment was nice and refurbished...

We went through here on the Tourist Train and it's a lovely area. There are so many great villas and mansions to see as well as lovely apartment buildings. There are also nice golf courses There are plenty of bars and restaurants and the Village is really quaint with its cobbled streets. A nice place to visit.....

Nice and peaceful but with the choice of plenty of lively bars and restaurants in the marina nearby. Complex is well kept and secure. It's has quite a British feel with a supermarket on site or several a short distance away.

Our first time back in Portugal for 20 years was as a result of an invite to a wedding.we were booked into a 3 bedroom house beside the main pool area. We really enjoyed our stay. The Old Village has so many positives, great accommodation, a variety of restaurants, well stocked supermarket, close to Vilamoura, swimming pools. Wi-Fi excellent. Ideal...

Such a beautiful part of vilamoura, it's about 5 minutes drive from the marina! We we're late checking in and there was no problem with that! There are plenty of places to eat without leaving old village and the pools are just beautiful! Definitely coming back here again!

Lots of apts etc on cobbled roads. a bit to far to the main drag of restaurants and bars. has restaurants on the village but rather pricey. would not recommend to people with walking problems as the cobbles are hard to walk on and tbe village is a good 30 minute walk to marina which has the main area of...

Stayed in the Old Village in Vilamoura from the 1st to the 11th of August. The community element of the small enclosed village, with a supermarket, restaurants, bars and even a bakery. The villa we stayed in was equip with a balcony area and a roof terrace stretched over 3 floors. The architecture was also styled in an old Portuguese...
