The dom pedro marina Hotel was suitable for our 4 night stay. The air con is a central system so could not be changed, as weather wasn't too cold we left balcony door open overnight for fresh air. There are no English channels on the TV. Breakfast wasn't great, hot food wasn't very hot! Coffee was good though. Very close to the marina which suited us as went most evenings, although lots of restaurants are closed by end November . Probably won't be back this late in season again, although had 20°c a couple of days 4 out of 5 for hotel, very clean too

I have been visiting this hotel once or twice a year for many years on my own. This trip, for the first time, I took friends. It is as good as always and my friends confirmed my opinion. The staff, many of whom have been there for years, are so helpful and friendly, the rooms are an excellent size and very well appointed, and the breakfasts serve up an unlimited choice. The friendly welcome on every visit makes me feel as if I am in a second home, and I can think of nothing I would change. I have travelled all over the world but this is where I relax and chill out.

Checkin was efficient and pleasantly completed by a friendly young lady. The room was nothing special but with a good seaview and we could hear the sea from the balcony. The airconditioning did not work correctly all our holiday. This and the fact that one of the two lifts in the reception area was out for the duration was reported to reception; to no avail. The whole hotel was kept spotlessly clean, and all the staff first class. We felt sorry for them having to work in an old hotel where the decor and ambience of the lounges, dining area and public areas was very underwhelming and frankly boring. Breakfast was excellent , fresh and well cooked, together with a range of cereals and juices tea and coffee. The staff here and in the evening were excellent. The evening meals were another thing altogether. We went in when the restaurant opened we were the only people in, and it stayed empty and silent. After two nights of very substandard cooking, bland and tasteless, accompanied by a bread board only fit for feeding to the birds we decamped to the sister hote five minutes walk up the road. Here we found a comfy modern dining room with background music, a well stocked salad bar, a toureen of soup of the day, and a great assortment on the sweet counter. There were two choices of main course which was cooked in full view; well cooked properly presented and very tasty; a-la-carte at its best. Once again excellent staff and chefs. The Marina obviously exists for the golfing fraternity who you see at breakfast then they are gone for the day and seem to eat out at night; away from home and off the leash having a great time. This hotel badly needs an upgrade, you have a staff to be proud of give them something modern to work with The resort has untold numbers of hotels and restaurants and five major golf courses, so apart from walking after three days we had seen it all. Very disappointed, bye bye Villamoura, bye bye Dom Pedro Marina Hotel.

This hotel is lovely. We got a beautiful suite with a pool and sea view, it felt spacious and it was so easy to get to the marina from here. Great selection of food at breakfast The staff at this hotel were so helpful and friendly and made our first holiday with our baby so easy. A special thanks to Maria (and her male colleague working alongside her) on reception who went above and beyond for us. We would love to return here some day. Very clean hotel with a kids pool!

Weather was great. Beach lovely. Sea very clear. Loads of restaurant and bars. It's is a very lively golf resort with loads of Irish bars on the marina. To eat there is a great variety of restaurants from Portuguese, Mediterranean, steak houses, Chinese, Indian and Burger bars. There is also boat trips and water sports available. Sign up to Uber taxis very cheap and reliable to get round Portugal.

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel and will be our last , just overall very dissapointed mostly with the staff they are so miserable barring an odd one especially the bar and breakfast area . Pool area nice but for most of our week there they allowed 5 local teenagers in to just basically mess about in the hot tub we complained about this on day 4 of which reception staff seemed helpful. Cleaners left rubbish in bins and another member of our group asked for coffee and sugar to be refilled and was not . Hotel has no entertainment at all, think the management need to look at certain issues we won't stay at dom Pedro's again

Hotel has a great location, close enough to the marina within easy walk. It’s a little dated, but clean, maid service was excellent. Pool the best part but the music was far too loud to snooze while sunbathing. Breakfast was hit and miss, we stuck to fresh fruit and croissants.

Great hotel in a great location. It was very clean & the rooms were nice & spacious with air con good. Multiple choice breakfast although it was the same everyday. Did not go to the restaurant in the evening but it looked popular Pool was a good size although a wee bit cold but once you were in it was OK Plenty of sunbeds did n't need to put your towel out early but there was always one who had to. Staff were friendly & polite.
