It was a very nice experience. The owner was very welcoming and the Hotel very clean and quite. Great jacuzzi! It is located perfectly close to amazing beach and cool restaurant. Very nice for couples, friends pr families. I strongly recommand it and would love to come back !
This year we are the 7th time in County House. We like the Location and especially our Hosts! It's like coming home. Nearby you have good Restaurants and one of the best Beaches of Portugal (Praia do Meco)
I found this hotel/guest-house while planning a weekend getaway for me and my girlfriend. Unlike what a Google search might say, it's not located in Sesimbra town centre, but in Alfarim, a village 12km away. If you've a car, it's not a big deal as it's only a 10, 15 min. drive. We stayed there in February so it was rather empty. The only person member of staff was friendly and welcoming. Gave us 2 rooms to choose from. The one we went for was well decorated, although not particularly large but big enough nonetheless. It included TV, bar, heating and a lovely balcony. On a less positive note, the shower handle didn't fit the shower handle support attached to the wall and the hot water took a bit too long to get to the sink ( but it did in the end) and the mattress wasn't the best i've slept in but nothing major. I'd say this place fits people travelling on a budget who don't ming being a bit outside of Sesimbra. It was the cheapest I found in the area, as Sesimbra seems to be a bit pricier than other coastal towns in Portugal during February. It's located quite close to several beaches, like Meco and it has restaurants and cafés within walking distance. If you're travelling for longer than a weekend or with friends or kids, you might want to consider taking on one of their small apartments. It has a communal BBQ and a bit of lawn at the front which must be top during summer. :-)…
Very beautiful house at cheap price, the room is very nice and comfortable. Not far from beaches and Cabo de Espechel. Few minutes walk from restaurants, a great alternative to the crowded Sesimbra, if you look for more relax
