We had a lovely time staying here. Everything is beautifully designed, and breakfasts (as reported) are great, with delicious daily variations thanks to Eduardo. There’s so much to explore and do in this region that, like other guests, we hardly made use of the pool. Our room was very comfortable with stacks of storage space. The gardens are delightful, with some impressive mature specimen trees. This is very much a place to relax and unwind, encouraged by Eduardo whose twinkling calm mirrors the tranquillity of the sea. And Mario is the ideal host – I couldn’t help thinking of the Great Gatsby: “It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it, that you may come across four or five times in life. It faced – or seemed to face – the whole external world for an instant, and then concentrated on you with an irresistible prejudice in your favor.” They have a gift for making everyone feel welcome and at home.

Located close to Aldeia do Meco, and the Atlantic Ocean, this little hotel has a very charming atmosphere, due to the architecture, the decoration but also the staff. Cosy room, fancy social areas and a magnificent breakfast.

We stayed five weeks in almost all over Portugal, and this cozy bed&breakfast is really one of the best among the others. As soon as we arrived we felt the homy feeling and Eduardo welcomed us. He is really friendly, has a good sense of humor, and also he is the man everyone mentioned about his delicious breakfast. Yes, it's so true. The breakfast is full of fresh, homemade and quality ingredients, taste and the nice presentation. It is delicious and highly above the Portugal standards. Mario is also so friendly and helpful. We loved our room, it's a small room but they decorated nicely and functionally enough, there is almost everything you need. It has a small garden/ terrace which we use it a lot to get relax, there is always nice wind -so you don't need AC-, birds singing in the background. The location is far from the crowd but also close to every nice place. They also made a print with full of nice spots and tips you will need in Sesimbra. Believe me you can not find a better place to stay in Sesimbra. So we definitely will come back and thank you all again, you made our travel in Sesimbra so memorable. - There is a smell coming from the toilet some days, I think it depends on the direction of the wind. - Air refresher was too intensive for the small room. So we took it off as soon as arrived.

We spent one night at the lovely B&B and we would have loved to extend but it was fully booked. The place is really pretty, the pool area very nice and the living room with cool design. Breakfast was very delicious and eclectic. The host was very friendly and helped us with many ideas and plans. We highly recommend this B&B!

We arrived here for 4 nights after a week travelling around Alentejo and really welcomed the relaxed and friendly feel to it after staying in larger hotels. From the previous reviews we were expecting good things and as long as your aware of its limitation (will cover this below) it doesn't disappoint. We were met by Eduardo when we arrived and were given plenty of information and useful tips about the surrounding area, beaches, and restaurants. As well as offering his help, Eduardo worked very hard to ensure that we continued to enjoy our stay. Mario was also around at breakfast to offer his friendly advice etc. We stayed in Room 2 which had plenty of storage space and was well furnished, with a very comfortable bed. The rooms (particularly the bathroom) had a rustic/shabby chic feel to them but the whole building has been designed to fit in with the local natural environment and it does this very well, and very comfortably. As we are used to large chain hotels, the natural feel of the place struck as at first as not everything is perfect - but it doesn't matter because it works. The shared living room was very large and furnished well with quirky pieces and was a great space to spend a few hours relaxing in the evenings, with a glass of wine, reading etc. The food at breakfast was excellent quality with plenty of choices including excellent home made cakes and jams which were lovely. During the day fruit and cakes were available, and although we didn't use it we thought that the honesty bar was a great touch and assisted in creating the relaxed feel. Overall, we were very pleased and the place really grew on us. The only limitation (for some) is that the location means a car is required to visit the local sights and restaurants. This didn't bother us and we travelled across the whole region exploring, but anyone interested in booking or looking for a hotel where they can walk everywhere should be aware. Recommended and we'd definitely stay again. Thanks
