We arrived at this hotel in the early evening asking about availability. Helas, nothing available anymore. As this hotel has a Tesla 'destination charger', I told the receptionist that we specially choose this hotel for it, and needed to charge the car. She didn't mind that we charged it without staying here. So, good service! In the mean time we... More

We stayed here three nights and it proved to be an excellent base to explore Lofoten. Certainly central to Svolvear and all the Harbour based life - even the Hurtigruten announcing its arrival in the fog with three large horn blasts was a 'hoot'. Choice for the evening meal was limited but the fish soup was delicious and well priced.... More

Had an extra Superior room overlooking the harbour with a small terrace outside. Rooms are very small so the bathrooms. However the location and tranquility makes up for these shortcomings. Excellent breakfast served in the morning. Pretty pricey during the high season.

We stayed here last July for a summer trip and purposely booked a room overlooking the waters. Even though the sea view from the room was not the best, we are still elated nonetheless. The other side of the hotel has spectacular mountain/fjord view, which is not bad either. The one thing we enjoyed the most is the breakfast spread... More

Really good place on the sea. Clean and nice. Very good service. Amazing view. Easy parking. Small and essential rooms, but more than good, nice building. Big reception. We are ok with this hotel. Seagulls, and sailboat from the balcony (ask for it). Reception is really efficient. Still to taste breakfast but I'm sure it will be good.

I really liked this hotel. I stayed three nights and had a room on the ground floor with a balcony inches from the water of the harbor, which I enjoyed every evening. Fun to watch Hurtigruten coming and going. The room was not large at all; in fact, one side of the bed rests against a wall. And there are... More

Small rooms and the view we got to car parking was not that nice. One could also see inside the room. Buffet dinner was a disappointment. View to the see was the best part of the stay. Parking next to the hotel was crowded. Walking distance to the center was short.

The hotel has a great position down by the harbour. You can see the Hurtigruten ships come and go in the evenings from the dining area. This is a very busy hotel. When we were there it was mainly used by coach tours that just spend a night there, so I guess it is an unusual place to be based... More
