This hotel and restaurant is under new ownership and you can tell, we ate in the restaurant and it was great. Just a fine Dutch dinner in nice surroundings and with excellent service.. Restaurant name is "eten voor allen" This really is worth a visit for a reasonable priced dinner , you won't be dissapointed..

Positive: - Booked at a very cheap price (maybe I was lucky) - Bathroom shower basic but ok - Clean room - Breakfast: good - Friendly staff Negative: - It would have been nice to have some snacks (chips, cookies, chocolate) in the minibar - I could not regulate the room temperature. It was too hot during the night. -... More

Firstly I should say I rarely give bad reviews, but there is little option here. The hotel itself was ok, breakfast ok, cleanliness fine, but we had the misfortune to stay on the night of a rap festival over the road that finished at 2 am and then took another 2 hours to dismantle. The noise was simply atrocious and... More

a typical "in transit" hotel, modern, clean and tidy, helpful staff, food a little on the dear side but ample places to eat in this small rural town, apparently there is an issue with parking of large vehicles due to narrow access to the carpark, people with motor homes beware.

This hotel is outdated in its furniture, but the atmosphere is lovely. You feel welcome as soon as you meet the receptionist. The smell is fresh and the surrounding beautiful withs its big oaktrees in front. Our room was Ok, the bathroom tiny but adequate (lovely shower), the beds of good quality. We had a nice balcony with morning sun.... More

My wife and I went here during a short weekend break. We had a hotel voucher so the room was very cheap. We also booked the breakfast separately, but it was not spectacular. Just a simple buffet. The room was clean, but nit very big, with two separate beds. There was a coffee make, a small tv and a balcony.... More

This hotel is a nice one. We stayed here for one night. Late in the evening we called for a room. Gladly they had one for this was a very late booking. The room we were given was not a very good one, so at midnight after checking in we went back to the frontdesk and asked another one. Fortunately... More

If your planning a visit around the end of June say to the Assen TT (MotoGP),this hotel is handy about a 15-20min ride. We booked in November of the preceeding year for 3 nights and then required a fourth night. The fourth night was almost 50% cheaper as it was the day before the start of the TT.There is parking... It's time for the hotel to renovate the rooms; the carpet smells a bit and is at least a decade old. When we arrived, both the room and the bathroom were properly cleaned. There is only one main lamp available in the room and two next to each side of the bed. For people with low visibility, this might be... More

Well, it was a cheap hotel, so the cheap rooms and the location combined makes this a decent option if you're staying in Zuidlaren area. However, there were quite a few things that really did not charm us. Let's start with the reception: the staff did their job perfectly okay, but they never smiled, were not interested in helping us... More
