Situated on the seafront the location of this hotel is excellent. Great views of the sea and the famous Lighthouse. Rooms are well appointed, with comfortable beds. The bar on the third floor is overlooking the North Sea and serves a decent gin&tonic. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to visit the indoor pool or sauna. Small suggestion: time...

I stayed in this Hotel for one night in September. The Hotel is in a nice location near the impressive Lighthouse in Den Helder. I found the Hotel itself was clean and had a nice atmosphere about the place. The rooms are nice with everything you expect - AC, clean bathroom, TV and mini-bar. I arrived at 1030pm and missed...

A nice hotel situated on the seafront in Den Helder. I have stayed here many times on business and have never been disappointed. The hotel reception staff are always very friendly and make you feel welcome. The rooms I have stayed in have always been very nice, and have come with two comfortable single beds pushed together, and a modern...

Hotel very good, rooms ok, sauna very good, reception very good, breakfast very good. Reataurant on the top: very good sight of the see, personnel very kind, but please don't eat vegetarian dishes: my main course was done with some some pieces of cabbage and curry souce and nothing else for "only" 25 Euros!! Ridiculous course! It was a kind...

The place is good near the sea. Design is ok. But it is not always clean. Table for breakfast are stained. The trash in the bathroom was not empty when I arrived. Big hair on my bed when I come back the evening. And worst of all....a noise all the night like a door which opens and closes with no...

I stayed at this hotel for work as I had to be at the Naval base the next day. It is a nice hotel with friendly staff. My room was nicely decorated and had all necessary amenities. However, it was extremely cold - maybe due to the hole in the false ceiling as a pannel had dissappeared. The hotel restaurant/bar...

We stayed here on a very cold and windy night in January, so the seaside location was not really appreciated - it would be nice in summer as the hotel is right on the coast. The location is outside Den Helder and the bus service is sparse (if it exists at all). Its a relatively pleasant couple of kilometre stroll...

Excellent stay, the staff were very helpful and spoke excellent english. The food was good and the hotel appearence was very good. We arrived in the evening, check in was smooth and the staff recommended a lovely local italian restaurant for an evening meal as we wanted to eat out.

Hotel is okay but not 4 star. Rooms are nice but have seen better days. Needed to ask for another room as air conditioning was so noisy it would not have been possible to sleep. Service was good but nothing to write home about. Hotel had one restaurant which was very expensive so if you wanted to have a meal...

“Some rooms are on the ground floor, so if that helps, specify these. To get a sea view you would need to be second floor.”
