Whilst the facilities at the spa are good, and the room is pleasant ( not great by any means, but basic, clean and just ok) this is one of the worst hotel mattresses I've ever stayed on. Squashy, lumpy, unsupportive, clearly very old. A very bad nights sleep. I wouldn't return.

It was nice hotel, in a big park. We rented bikes and wallked around. Very nice places around the hotel, nice restaurants. The hotel has a pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. The rooms are not big, but comftable.

Nice looking hotel on arrival, check in is very efficient. We were in the single rooms on the ground floor, Very small, but had everything we needed. Although no air conditioning, which I think other rooms do have. A free drink was provided on arrival - very welcome. and the bar/balcony is lovely. The hotel sponsors the cycling team -... More

It's a wonderful location, a nice stroll brings you to the centre of Valkenburg. Unfortunately we where there on the hottest day of the year, 30 degrees Celsius(93 Fahrenheit). The airconditioning system could not handle the heat, resulting in a sweltering hot hotel. Otherwise the hotel is in good shape! The rooms are clean, modern and spaceous. We forgot an... More

Very nice place to stay. The hotel is full of character. Room was good but the AC wasn't really AC. Just air 'mover'. The hotel has nice gardens so if you travel with dog they are in for the treat. The town is cute and picturesque. The €12.50 charge for dog is a little steep but you get a bunch... More

Great place, except floors slighlty from level. Not a issue it is an old building half way up the cliff. The Caves and castle were a short walk. Not right down in the village so those sounds did not travel. However the cafes and terraces start right at the castle and there is wonderful eats and patios,

Our stay was part of a package which included a Andre Reu concert and we stayed for two nights. From the outside the hotel looks a little "sombre" but our room was fabulous. A very large double room, although the bed was nearer king size. Clean and with good fittings. A jacuzzi bath in the room was an added bonus!... More

I loved staying at this hotel. The location is amazing and the staff is exceptional! I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Even the food is well worth the stay. They even have mobile key through a company called OpenKey which is really cool! I was able to get into my room using my cell phone the entire stay.... More

Took the wife away last weekend to celerbrate 10 years of marriage. They decoreated the room and bed in rose petals for her at no extra cost. Very helpful and friendly staff, the rooms were very nice, upgrade to a suite available for just 25 euros! 2 free drinks, champaigne breakfast every morning, we only ate breakfast there but the...
