This is an average 4* hotel. Why average? It is noisy and not very clean, specially the bathroom. All equipment needed to have 4 stars is there but it’s just under to what we are used to having. When people next door or above you take a shower or use the toilet, you’re enjoying every minute of it!
We normally stay at van Der Valk, NH or mercure and this hotel is just under what the others are offering.
The staff however is very friendly and helpful.
First time for us at a fletcher hotel, we will try an other one next time.

This hotel has not had an update since the 70s. We checked in, there was a sign at the reception not to set the airco below 20 or it would break, next to that a sign that the 90 degree sauna broke amd was out of commision. Typical for Fletcher hotels in my view, always something broken or not up to the task.

The room was ok, airco from the 70s but working. Furnature in dire need of some painting but otherwise ok.

The location is nice, near a nice park and close to a nice city beach, also close to the old city center.

We had a social deal for our stay and thus price was ok, however I would not recommend spending regular prices here.

Its ok, but thats it.

the rooms had recently been renovated. very nice, especialy the italian walk-in shower. the tiles were very classy and the floor was beautiful and it wasn't slippery at all, which we appreciated. the renovation and airco working wasn't finished, although it was indicated that the inconvenience would have been gone before our stay. and so we had no airconditioning and there was some noise. it was unpleasant, but we survived.

I stayed at this hotel with as part of a large group. It was perfect. Room was very nice. Staff were very friendly, the bar area has a good atmosphere, breakfast was very filling and the location is just a short walk into the town.

Rooms haven't been updated since the 70s....We used the restaurant; the bread, served (and paid) as extra side dish, consisted in slices of packed bread that you find in any supermarket........I can only comment positively on the outside sitting and the breakfast area. For the rest, I suggest to look around and you'll certainly find something better and probably cheaper. Not 4 stars at all, 3 mediocre stars max.

Booked for 3 nights, my wife for work and me tagging along for a break. Hotel appearance is pleasant enough and short walk into centre of town.
However, mid-twenties outside and no aircon in any rooms. Construction work going on so aircon turned off. According to hotels website, construction should be finishing today, but apparently not!! Constant banging and drilling all day - impossible to work in the room! Reception not able to give us another room as we will hear the noise everywhere.,,though it will only be during the day up to 5/6pm!!!! Oh that’s ok then…we’ll go and sit in the park all day until they’ve finished for the day shall we…,bloody ridiculous!! It seems as long as they state on their website that there is construction work going on (even beyond the date stated), then that gives them carte blanche to do what they like! Frankly, that’s appalling customer service and we won’t be staying here again in the future. Save yourselves the pain and stay somewhere else!

We stayed in various Fletcher hotels but this was a better one. Friendly welcome, proper corona check and easy parking. The in-room dining was in fact better than expected. Coffee facilities in the room 😀. We slept well and the bathroom was well maintained. Breakfast had to be picked up again from the buffet and to be taken to the room. Wellness facilities were unfortunately closed due to corona. Nice view from the room and close to the city centre.

Nice hotel, very kind personnel. Has also very nice surrounding which makes it a perfect place for a combination of biking and wellness weekend. Restaurant is very good, breakfast was also ok. We have tried the wellness area and I have no admit it's nice, clean and have some variations.

I stayed there for three nights for business and I will never book this hotel again.
Lobby, Bar and Restaurant look nice and new. But as soon as you go up one floor, you feel like you're in a cheap hostel in London. Dirty hallways. The rooms are old, carpets are full of spots, walls stained. No minibar, no safe. Bathroom very dated, needs refurbishing. Very noisy as the room had a connection door to another room (handles been taken off) - I could hear every word and movement.
This was the comfort double room for 132€ a night. Horrendous.
Staff was friendly but not very capable. Gym pretty disappointing.
Only good points:
Location. Breakfast was nice, good selection. Good Wifi.

This hotel is the best if you are looking to get some sleep away from the noise of the main square. It's about a 15 minute walk to the train station and square. Rent a bike at the front desk and do some exploring of the Dutch countryside and historical Bergen Op Zoom. The restaurant is fantastic.

Helemaal mee eens.
