A hotel we had been to before and which we liked. We had booked an offer with a main course on the first day.
The room on the first floor was fine, the toilet, which really needs renovation, was separate from the bathroom, which was very nice. There is also a hard floor covering in the room, which is easy to maintain and therefore without all kinds of stains. Fine! The bed was also fine. Unfortunately, the coffee maker did not work properly, so of the 8 cups only 2 gave good coffee (a note was placed on it).
The “main course” that was included in the offer turned out to be a full buffet, which we were able to enjoy. Very tasty and well cared for, with friendly and courteous service.
The breakfast was also good again. Too bad there are guests who do not know that the napkin on the bread is intended to hold the bread when you cut it. (hygiene)

A somewhat dated hotel, but neat and clean. Price/quality ratio was okay; You can't expect anything special for a Social Deal voucher of €70. And therefore showering in the bath, no shower caps, etc. The beds are reasonable with good (extra) pillows. We did not use the restaurant for dinner, because €39 per person is quite expensive in such a budget hotel. The breakfast was definitely good. Drinks and coffee in the bar are good, service is stiff and although it looks nice, it somehow does not invite you to sit down. (Or you have to want to enjoy the conversations of the staff).

Everything was expected to go by the description of the hotel except the fact that the solarium was no longer present. This should have been corrected in the facilities competition.
The lack of a gym doesn't really suit a hotel like this.
The sauna and pool were small but comfortable.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The room was neat, spacious and equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. We also found a spacious safe.
We enjoyed an excellent breakfast there three times. The bread was a bit on the hard side and the currant bread didn't seem fresh because it was fragile. Furthermore, it was adequately provided with everything.
The fact that we are lovers of fresh lettuce and whole fruits but did not find them can be considered a personal thing.
The buffet, where we once sat down, was exquisite. Plenty of choice and great quality.
The hotel is located in a beautiful area surrounded by nature which invites you to take (long) walks.

Hospitality at its best!

Our first stay in this hotel was in summer of 2022, we stayed here during our visits to some family and friends and we asked for a room with less EMF radiation and that is exactly what we got.

The receptionists are so professional and accommodating, tthey were always ready to provide as help for extra information. The hotel has a pool and they won't shoo you off in case you overstayed your time in it.

The restaurant is a jewel in this hotel. We had a wonderful experience from breakfast to fine dining during our stay. We take our hat off the hotel chef assigned for breakfast as well as the crew during our stay here. The chef is very attentive to the guest, he was never out of freshly grilled tomatoes or sunny side up fried eggs which you don't usually encounter in any other hotels we stayed in. You don't have to ask for a refill because he does this automatically with all smiles and passion. I also noticed that on the day a guest was with a kid, there were mini pancakes served. I am not a fan of pancakes but I had three of them that same day because they were a yum!

As for dinner, the food is divine, it is worth every penny especially for non meat eaters, one could tell a lot of attention and passion were put in them despite the fact that it was buffet, grilled meat and fish were fresh and warm. As for the crew, you don't have to ask them to provide you utensils on your table, it is all done automatically and professionally.

We take our hat off to the whole crew and the management of this hotel for being so organized and for providing guests and extra great service! We hope that you would stay as so! Thank you for making us feel at home! We shall definitely keep going back!

Due to an appointment in Assen, we were looking for an overnight stay nearby. This hotel is a great place to stay. The result of the renovation is great. Beautiful swimming pool and a luxurious appearance.
The live cooking dinner buffet is highly recommended!
In addition, it is also an excellent base for walking and cycling trips in the beautiful nature in the area.

Extremely warm in the corridors, general areas and rooms. Not self-adjustable. Reported at reception but.night 2 the same again. Restaurant is disappointing to me. Risotto with plain rice, steak still raw and a hamburger sandwich where the hamburger was way too small. The rooms are clean and the shower was lovely. Bed was soft for me but fine. Care meeting fine!

Great hotel in a great location. You walk right in the door from the beautiful nature reserve.
Outside vh hotel a lick of paint would do wonders. Inside it is fine and cozy atmosphere.
Spacious hotel room. Pretty warm though; balcony door left open at night.
Life cooking buffet was good, lots of choice. Pretty pricey though
Ribhouse Texas is at 300 mtr but unfortunately had no more space.

We went for the life cooking with 4 people. Costs € 39.95 per person excluding drinks. The buffet is nothing. Cold food, almost nothing vegetarian.
Little choice and far below standard in quality. In between we were not asked if we wanted to have another drink. Plates stayed up for a long time. Overall not recommended. When leaving the hotel no word from the receptionist.

Onze kamers (begane grond en minder-valide) voldeden geheel aan de verwachtingen. Rest van de accommodatie en services ook, waar voor je geld met heel vriendelijke en behulpzame bediening. Gewoon een prima hotel voor die prijs.
