The rooms are modern and nicely appointed, and the views of the North Sea coast are breathtaking. De Baak is seriously committed to sustainability, and sources local organic food in its restaurant. They also provide recreational opportunities to guests, with guided beach walks, waterspouts, and even fencing.

This is not our first visit to this hotel, and it will not be our last. We always enjoy a 'sea view' room, and love the experience of opening our room window and gazing at the beach just across the street. The rooms are standard, not much more than necessary for the stay, but clean and tidy. The included breakfast... More

Recently attended a series of two day conferences at this hotel. Just 30 minutes from Schipol Airport it sits on the beach area of Noordwijk. Staff are very nice and service focused. The centre has a great selection of large conference rooms with helpful staff to assist. The hotel has a large open dining area that overlooks the beach and... More

I was really very disappointed with the hotel. It is for sure not a 3 stars, father a hostel. Old wallpaper on walls. Dirty windows, thin carton walls, you can easily hear mobile phone vibrating in the room next to yours. There is hardly any furniture in the room: two beds, a chair and a wardrobe. No minibar. Please, be... More

Choose a room overlooking the sea and you wont be disappointed. Nice and comfortable rooms. First class breakfast. Take a stroll along the beach and enjoy a sundowner in one of the lovely beach bars/restaurants. A great & relaxing place!

Intro We booked this hotel for a short stay at the Dutch coastline. As a couple. We’ve been here several times before. Love the location and breakfast. Transport The best way to come to De Baak Seaside, Noordwijk is to come by car. In the Netherlands public transport is always an option too. In this case you should come by... More

The room was very small, however clean and efficient. Breakfast was nice. We also had lunch there, no meat at all only loads of fish dishes. This was disappointing. Dinner also is supposed to look really nice an fancy but does not taste well. I would prefer the keep it simple but good.

Good hotel on quiet boulevard. Sea is only 100 meters away, 50 at high tide ;-) Breakfast is good but not great. I missed the english breakfast (bacon, tomato etc..) but egg was provided. Beds are good, bathroom is clean and ok but slightly outdated. Room was very clean and so are hallways and so forth. Stayed one night, off... More

The cons of this hotel are the building itself, it has no character. The same goes for the room. It has everything you need but nothing more. The pros are the location, the beach is a few steps away and the lively boulevard and the more busy part of the beach are nearby. The breakfast was very good, the fact... More

Right near the sea so you get charged over double for your room than what it would be worth on another location. We went during the high season, the hotel's parking lot was completely full so we had to park a couple of streets away. The rooms are very basic and relatively small, without modern comforts like a fridge or... More
