There is little I can add to the superlatives bestowed on this place in other reviews. As described, it is a world of white, spacious and comfortable which serves to set off the owners' impressive art collection (or part of it, I suspect). I visited Camogli at the end of the season, and travelling alone, it could have been a...

We were greeted by Marta who simply couldn't do enough for us! During our stay we were made to feel most welcome by all of the staff including Mario, Romeo and Anna! It was quite late in the season but we had great weather and were able to enjoy the pool, the views, the high standard of hygiene and the...

Villa Rosmarino is exactly what a boutique hotel should be! The hotel is handsomely decorated in a contemporary style and each of the rooms is distinctive with interesting art work throughout. Mario, Marta and the inexhaustible Romollo are wonderful hosts who seem to truly care about each of their guests. Their hospitality begins the minute you arrive with a warm...

My partner and I stayed here for four nights and were really glad we did. We chose Camogli as it's not quite as touristy as some nearby holiday destinations plus the Villa Rosmarino is a little out of town - quite a walk in the hot sun but secluded and peaceful. It's a lovely old building, beautifully restored. Our room...

We spent 3 nights at Villa Rosmarino in late May 2016. From the warm welcome by Mario, Marta, and Romolo, a fantastic room with a great view, breakfast (the fruit creations were lovely), a beautiful building lovingly restored, the garden, Mario’s passion, to all the little details at every turn, everything was perfect. We stayed in the Swimming Pool Room....

We were lucky enough to be invited to stay at this wonderful Villa by a friend who had rented the whole place for his birthday celebration. From our arrival we were made to feel at home by the friendly staff. The villa is perched on the hill and has an incredible view from the terrace where we spent a lot...

We spent 4 nights at Villa Rosmarino in late April 2016, and we were immediately impressed by this impeccably presented villa not to mention the the genuine kindness of Marta and Mario, our lovely hosts. The villa is a short 5-10 minute walk to Camogli and has breathtaking views of France. Mario and Marta went well out of their way...

I don't think that I've ever Tripadvised anyone on an establishment I've never visited, much less offered a five-circle rating. But let me explain, please. I had booked the Villa Rosmarino in January as part of a projected spring tour of Tuscany (which we know quite well) and Liguria (which we don't). Then I took a fall a few days...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Built in 1907 over a pre-existing structure, Villa Rosmarino is a typical Ligurian small palace with green shutters and trompe l’oeil which reproduce on the wall frescoes, decorations and floral motifs. To its first owner, a local sea captain who commissioned the building at the end of XIX century, Villa Rosmarino was their country home where to take rests in between long seafaring journeys, but also where the olives coming from the trees and land surrounding the villa were crushed. In the ground floor was an old oil mill to produce olive oil for the needs of the resident family but also for those residing in the neighboring villas. The grind stones of the oil mill have been kept after the restructuring and are part of the decoration of the garden of the villa. ... more   less
