Stayed in the Leonardo from 31st of august until the 7th September 23, With friends , all inclusive great beer and small" help yourself "collection of drinks from the optics , rooms serviced promptly everyday view from ours was beautiful of the Lake (2106 )coffee in the room and fridge TV with 2 English channels BBC , and France 24 English. Rooms are very dated like going back to the 70s but clean Animation team lovely young guys and girls organized Karaoke for us ,was not expecting that two great nights of singing .thank you Beautiful swimming pool , , pool in spa area was not good water looks dirty outside terrace full of smokers so you have to chase a table downwind I really suggest a complete non smokers area, Buffet food , breakfast was great , lunch and dinner is very limited Great transport put on for into the center , 20 minute walk highly recommended if you can one way or the other . private sunbeds and bar on the beech across the road steep steps down to it ,,,take the road to the right as you exit hotel down under the bridge follow your nose far easier and safer if you have children . The staff are very very stand offish I found the they don't really engage once or twice I had some enquires and they were not overly enthusiastic to engage (smile please ) except the animation well some them In summary , great location to the lake and town , food very basic except breakfast , rooms very clean but very dated , staff are tired I guess at the end of a long season so got make allowances. I will return to the beautiful lake Garda but would I stay here again ,I don't know ............ I give it a 7/10

Overall the hotel was great. Absolutely beautiful, clean, nice pools, not too many people, enough all inclusive to remain satisfied. Family of four (11 and 13) in one studio room, the children had a sofa bed each, older photos of the older don't show this. It was bigger enough with enough storage for 10 nights. Amazing view from the balcony which I believe pretty much all rooms have, aircon, small fridge, hot water, xlean towels daily, beds made, beach towels provided.Only downside for me was the noisey pipes which woke us up every morning. The food was a solid good, not avaliable all day we found the times a little restrictive for us as we are usually later eaters but it was fine breakfast finished at 10 lunch 12.30 to 14.00 and dinner 18.15 to 8.30 but all cleared away on the dot of the end time and felt like we needed to have left by those times. Food was repatitive, they are catering for many nationalities so for us some strange items such as cold vegetables but we were full every meal time, all buffet but regularly topped up with fresh. I was massively disappkinted there is no pizza in the hotel even to buy. Resturant staff were brilliant, kept everything clean, all friendly and helpful. Ice cream or lollies available from freezers in the bars all day, limited drinks included (as many as you like) 5 or so different spirits, beer, very sugary Coke, lemonade (lemon), fizzy orange, or pineapple, apple and orange fruit juice. The reception and reaturant is all very modern and I would imagine reasonably new, very spacious, very civilised entertainment a singer every evening in the outdoor seating area a shame there are so many people smoking here. The lake and pools were perfect we had very hot weather so would spend half day at the pool and half at the lake. I would return if the price was right, we got a great deal this time so they may have influenced my opinions.

We have just stayed as a couple in our 50's with our 17 year old son. It's a lovely hotel but very "family" based. Children seemed super happy with the pool/animation team . We spent time on the private beach which is stunning and has a self serve bar and light lunches available. The hotel is immaculate and staff are wonderful. The hotel is situated on a hill and the climb to some rooms is steep. We had to ask for a lower floor the staff obliged but we did loose a lot of the view. The car garage is situated at the top of the hotel so collecting a rental from the garage is a good cardio workout! Rooms are in an older style but immaculately clean like the hotel in general. We had no issue with our large room even with 3 adults sharing. Drinks in all inclusive are self serve so never a que and snacks/ice creams also self serve and varied. Only mildly negative is the restaurant ot "canteen" this is very busy and I found choice limited. Some dishes were beautifully cooked other like tv dinners! Desserts were very good quality. We had a lovely stay but wouldn't return due to restaurant and number of small children ( sorry but too old for all that noise and fried food)

My partner and I returned last week from a weeks holiday at the Leonardo Da Vinci hotel in Limone and had a lovely time. The hotel had an amazing view of the lake from the hotel and the reception staff were helpful when we checked in and gave us a map of the resort and local area, as well as a copy of the minibus timetable into Limone and some details on the excursions offered. The mini bus is very good, always seem to be right on time and only takes about 4 mins to get there. It is also a pleasant walk, only takes about 25 mins, you can go across the beach on route too. The food was very good, with plenty of options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Lots of tasty salad and pasta options. Desserts were ok. There were also plenty of little snacks available throughout the day. The service is very much, you help yourself to whatever you want, food and drink wise, the staff just come round and clear the tables. This was fine for us, but if you prefer a higher level of service, I would pick a different hotel. The rooms were quite basic as others have said but fine, duvets we’re a bit scratchy and the air con was quite loud though, but it was did the job, it would have been boiling without it on. I would recommend to bring your own hair dryer if you have long and or thick hair though ! The cleaners came round everyday (be warned they don’t change the sheets though ). The private beach was lovely and always had plenty of sun-beds available. There is also a help yourself bar on the beach, which was good, but slightly more limited then the other bars, it didn’t have gin (my drink of choice !) but there were other options. The lake is lovely to swim in, but very very rocky when you get in, so I would recommend buying boat/ beach type shoes if you plan to go swimming or use the little pontoon to get in and out. The main pool was good always enough sunbeds, only small complaint is the pool bar closes at 5pm, which seems quite early but the bar in the reception area can be used instead. Entertainment wise, they had live music almost every night, but the quality varied, some very good and some average. During our stay we did the lake cruise and the Dolomites mountain - both of these excursions were fantastic. The tour guide in the Dolomites once was especially good and entertained everyone for the majority of the drive. Overall, a great experience at Lake Garda/ Leonardo Da Vinci Hotel 🙂

The hotel is very well situated with a great view of the lake and the eastern mountains and a lake shore sunbathing area with bar facilities. The reception & dinning room areas are very modern but the food is average. The bedrooms offer fantastic views and are cleaned every day. Matress/bed uncomfortable. Enrertainment on a night is outside on the large terrace. However the air is overwhelmed by cigarette smoke as management has decided not to invoke no smoking Zones for the benefit of non smokers. On some nights the entertainment is the animation team entertaining children on the terrace but this normally takes place at the main pool. Please, please, please if there is no professional act do without the animation team & have quiet. On the subject of quiet there is no designated adult only area.

Fantastic view of the lake & mountain. Take note the rooms are behind reception, go out of reception turn right across terrace, follow green railings & you will see the pool & rooms, everyone got lost taking directions from reception. Hotel very clean, food was nice, although very hot in restaurant could do with opening patio doors, rooms a bit dated but very clean and lots of toiletries provided, pool area clean and tidy, good shuttle bus service, overall very pleasant stay.

I never usually write reviews I just come on to trip advisor to read them but I felt like after reading the two previous negative reviews is was my duty to share my experience of this hotel. We stayed for 4 nights from the 27th May, first impressions on arrival on the hotel were brilliant, very fast check in so we could go straight to the restaurant before they closed, reception, lobby/bar area was more modern than we was expecting with plenty of seating and a great area out of the front of the hotel with views of the lake. Rooms were dated as others have mentioned and decor is not to some people’s taste, but this is how it is in Italy and didnt affect our stay in anyway. The air conditioning didn’t work, again as others have mentioned and some nights were warm but it wasn’t totally unbearable and when questioned at reception the air conditioning was turned on 2 days into our holiday. This was down to the state of Italy and as far as I can gather not something the hotel decided, bare in mind the weather had been quite poor up to us going therefore probably didn’t warrant the expense of air conditioning. The pools were great, our kids and the other family we travelled with had a great time and made the most out of every second we spent in the hotel! The food was good in our opinion, great meat choices every night and there was always something for us and our kids and I am quite a fussy eater. The hotel had great access to the beautiful lake and also had its own private beach club which we used for a change of scenery, yes we did had to pay for food and drinks in this area but it was a lovely setting and this didn’t bother us at all. We are English and the entertainment team did make an effort with us and our kids, some of the staff played with our kids in the top pool with a slide and there was games going on by the main pool too. Overall we had a brilliant holiday here, we don’t really have any complaints and we would definitely return if the price was right. You go to this area for the views and beauty of where you are and for that it is faultless.

Definitely not a 4star hotel , rooms are very dated & we had to wait two days to have broken bed replaced . No air conditioning even though it was 25/27 degrees as hotel didn’t think it was hot enough , sent TUI rep a message regarding this & was told it’s in the small print the hotel does not have to have it on ? Even though it’s advertised as rooms having air conditioning, we spent the nights with the patio doors open which resulted in mosquito bites ! Very dissatisfied with this as it was booked a special holiday for my husband’s birthday & felt this and the lack of interest from staff at this hotel ruined our stay . Animation team only approached one nationality of people staying here & offered a very limited selection of activities to do , nothing like what was advertised on the board ? Restaurant only had half the area open & tables were so close together there was no room to move . Food was ok we always found something to eat , nice selection of fruits & puddings . The atmosphere in the restaurant was very hectic as not enough room & the rushing for food was awful. The best thing about this hotel was its location , lovely views & access to ferry’s ect . We travelled around the lake daily & enjoyed the location . My advice is only go to this hotel If you don’t mind poor service , uncomfortable sleep & pushing & shoving at meal times . Definitely not a 4star hotel & shame on TUI for advertising this & the lake of interest from the rep was disgusting.
