we had wonderful vacation. we enjoyed it very much. perfect animation team!!! beautiful place. we spent there only 4 night, and we were sorry for leaving. Limone sul Garda- wonderful town with lot of cafés.
Don’t choose this hotel if you are not ok with flights of steps . On arrival we were given room 5312 which is right on the top floor at the back . Pushing two cases uphill in 35 degree heat was a challenge and we are relatively fit . The view from our room is pretty good tbf overlooking Lake Garda . WiFi is awful and not to be relied upon. Entertainment is good if you like a solitary guitar player night after night if you don’t it’s rank . The best selling point is it’s private beach which is very good and there are decent trips out from Limone which is 20 minutes walk away or a free shuttle bus away . The gym is fairly good and everything is working . Daytime entertainment is quite ok and the team are friendly and helpful . Overall for the money spent I’ve not been particularly taken aback . If I had spent £2k for 10 days for the pair of us then I’d say that was value for money but we spent £3.5k and for that reason it’s a 3/5 and not a 4/5…
This was a much needed holiday for a tired nurse! The food was excellent and varied and there were lovely salads daily and great fish and pasta etc. Good selection of drinks. Very clean hotel and nightly entertainment. The only issue was getting here as the airport was Milan Bergamo. The taxi company was excellent but as you imagine, not cheap. We will definitely return. Lake Garda is beautiful and this hotel has Great Lake views and a lovely pool. All in all, a beautiful location and highly recommended.
Well what can I say. Absolutely beautiful location, had a lovely room (2215) with a private side lake view was absolutely perfect for us. So much so my boyfriend proposed to me on the balcony with this beautiful view. This hotel holds a very special place in my heart forever now
Everything was perfect from start to finish , the only thing was the travelling to limone ,wish there was a bus straight there or a shuttle bus from the airport 😢😜it took us 5 hours to get there from the airport 😢
room was grand food was excellent staff were great .i could not fault this hotel in any way.entertainment was relaxing.we stayed at the leonardo de vinci 21 may to 28 th of may.THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF FOR A LOVELY HOLIDAY
Hotel Leonardo is a fantastic stay for you as a couple, or as a family. We've done both and stayed at the hotel twice now. The all inclusive is of a good quality, and isn't outrageously wasteful. The swimming pools are brilliant and easy access to the lakeside beach. Lovely stay each time.
Staying here at the hotel has been GREAT! We didn't expect too much as we didn't pay a lot for it and we seen mixed reviews regarding the food. FOOD - what I will say is that it is not much of an option but having said that, what they do put out is VERY tasty! Most all inclusive holidays I have been too, the food is very bland! Here is very different. The only downside is that because we are in Italy I presumed they would have pizza?? Have not seen any pizza at all. I think that would be great for everyone including children...but I still have enjoyed everything I have eat. One night it was a bad thunder storm and it seemed every one decided to eat at the hotel (so busy) me and my partner thought the staff would be over whelmed and maybe run out of food.....this was not the case, they were excellent! I was really impressed. LOCATION - Couldn't ask for better location. The pool is lovely and the views are amazing but I must admit our favourite spot is at the beach! Just breathtaking!! FREE SHUTTLE - we have walked into limone a lot of the time (by beach or the road) it takes about 25 minutes. We found a bar half way just past the garage and we tend to stop there for a drink! Right next door they have escalators (god send) and we use them and it cuts off alot of the journey! The shuttle is great but I feel there are a lot of rude/ignorant people who do not understand what a queue is! We could be standing waiting for 15 minutes and people just walk right to the front. It did annoy me a few times. We just decided to walk. It really is a beautiful walk. If you want a taxi into Limone it costs 10Euro. ENTERTAINMENT - When we first arrived it was really quiet! Which is nice for some people but I was a bit gutted by this! The day after was different - more visitors arrived and the entertainment team had everyone up dancing, playing darts and playing bingo. The music was great an the atmosphere was lovely! CLEANLINESS - Couldn't fault the place!! It is a little dated but it's so clean! The Maids really work hard. TIPS - they only seem to have BBC News in English on the TV so if you have a firestick bring it with you. When it wad thundering we decided to stay in and we plugged In my firestick and we watched a few movies. It was great! All-in all I would definitely come back again. It's actually been one of my favourite holidays Limone isn't very expensive for food either so we eat out lots of times for around 10 euro per meal... Have fun GUYS xxxx…
Brilliant hotel. The all inclusive option was such a good deal. The drinks available were great our girls loved helping themselves all day (soft, fizzy, water, plus a good selection for the adults spirits, beer and wine). The food choices for lunch and dinner were great. We enjoyed every meal. Great snacks available throughout the day, crisps in the evening, Magmum ice creams- all part of the AI package. The girls loved the mini disco every evening too! The hotel was clean, tidy and well looked after (including the 3 pools). They provide a shuttle service into town which is beautiful- well worth the visit and it’s a nice gentle walk back if you wanted to stay out longer. The only downside is the rooms, they need updating. But if you are only in your room to sleep, like us, it’s not a huge deal. It would just be the cherry on the top if they were more modern. It’s also very hilly, so no good if your not very mobile.…
Thank you everyone at Leonardo da Vinci Hotel. Everything was great. Rooms clean, comfy beds. Pools clean and plus slide for the kids which they really enjoyed. Food brilliant, loads of choice always. Drinks - more than enough all kind. Do not listen negative reviews because everything is great there and can't fault a single thing. We loved this place definitely come back as soon as we can. Beautiful place!!!
