Hotel spotless beds made and towels changed frequently. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Lots of choice in the Dining room as regards food. Pool and area cleaned every evening. Definitely would stay here again. One thing needs improvement and that was evening entertainment for adults.

Firstly the reception staff were very friendly and professional, we arrived quite late after flying into Venice and spending the day and driving up late on, they made sure we ate before doing all the official paperwork. They upgraded our room and we stayed in the main block with amazing views of the Lake. The decor of the room was a bit outdated but they were clean and had everything you needed and we didn't spend much time there. The cleaners did a marvelous job we always had cleans towels and made beds and never disturbed us. The choice of pools and facilities for the children was great, we always got a sun lounger. The lake was great, we had a go in the canoe and pedlow and spent our days jumping off the little pier thing into the lake. It is self service for all drinks which we preferred never had to cue up, the coffee, hot chocolates, soft drinks, beer and spirits were all good. The wine is not the best but we didn't really mind. The food was tasty and always something different every day. There is limited stuff for lunch but we enjoyed it. The waiters are really friendly and great at keeping your tables tidy. The information we were not told by reception but found out ourselves, you can book in for a 6 course taster meal for one night which you are waited on, definitely worth it, book it as soon as you get there gets booked out quickly. The canoe and pedlow are free to use ask the lifeguard and you just sign a waiver. Now the only negative, the entertainment team are rubbish they spend more time entertaining each other, in the day they bring a speaker out near the main pool do a dance then basically mess around with each other, do a dance at the end and leave. The did not hardly do any of the entertainment schedule or they did it at different time to what they said they would. They change and stop music when they want regardless if people are enjoying or not. Although a couple of the men tried, the women apart from one looked miserable all day. The kids club do not do anything with the children especially in the afternoon, the entertainers basically sit and chat and the children are left on trampolines or play area. There is not really any entertainment at night, it's really poor on that side. Overall we had a really good time, we took the free shuttle bus to limone which is beautiful and the ferry to malcesine which was good, we drove to Verona. The roads are really good in Italy mainly toll roads, you take a ticket and then have to put in at another toll and it will tell you how much you owe.

We stayed at this hotel AI for 2 weeks (3 Adults 1 teenager) and we would have no hesitation in recommending. Hotel is mainly for families. Mealtimes are staggered to cater for crowding. Staff are friendly and entertainment staff work tirelessly to ensure a fun time is had by all. Hotel has 1 main pool, 1 smaller pool and a dedicated lakeside area for hotel. Plenty of sunbeds for all (even if some customers still lay down their towels??). Rooms although slightly in need of upgrading are kept spotless by cleaners. Food choice suitable for all needs. Free hotel shuttle to town centre appreciated - 15 walk otherwise.

Beginning of Aug19 we spent one week in hotel Leonardo da Vinci /Limone sul Garda/ and it was, at least for us,a great week off. Hotel itself is nice and has everything what you need. Our room (5309) was small but still enough for 2+2persons.The best of the room was the view, it was breathtaking to see the scenery around – one never get tired of it. Hotel has a private beach which was very clean and also had the lifeguard presented from 10am – 5pm. In our package(AL) we had also the possibility to borrow(free of charge) the water slide or kayak. This was really good for our kids. Unfortunately, the paddle board you have to pay extra(12Euro/hour). The lake is crystal clear and fresh (I think the lake temp was around 19 - 20C max). The hotel has one central big swimming pool and two smaller ones (those two are located on a platform above the hotel). The staff was very helpful and food was good.(their tiramisu was lovely😊). There are a lot things to see, especially if you have car/bike there. Whatever you are going to see (Monte Baldo, Cascata Varano, Strada della Forra, Limone or Garda village, Arco castle,…) I would recommend to do those activities early morning or afternoon to avoid crowds. For example: we decided to go to Strada della Forra – this street is fantastic for the drives and views from the top is fantastic, however, when we drove down (around 12) there is part without lights and very narrow – only for one car so we were stack for app. 1hour there, honestly, it was chaotic but we did it somehow. We saw a lot of bicycles around (mainly in Riva) but I do not think that it is safety, there are the bicycle patterns missing so you have to use the standard route and also go through tunnels.I’m sure there are patterns but their profiles could be a bit challenging. Overall, it was one the best holidays we have had. I will definitely recommend this hotel and location. Thanks to hotel staff and our travel agency(Fischer/Nev Dama/)
