When we arrived at the hotel I was flabbergasted by the scenery and staff. They were very kind and I loved the roof Terrance. Also the spa was AMAZING! I even got a happy ending. Didn’t speak any Albanian tho.

On arrival staff were quite polite however trying to find our room was a nightmare and directions weren’t very clear. The first night we decided to have dinner at the hotel wasn’t amazing not much selection to be honest. Luckily enough the hotel is quite close to the centre of limone so it’s only a 30 minute walk or you can get the bus from the hotel which was good. One thing me and my friend felt very uncomfortable with was other people staying at the hotel and even the staff at times staring at us and giving us dirty looks and we felt very out of place which isn’t what we wanted especially when going on holiday. One of the staff members in particular was quite rude, when we went into the hotel shop he wasn’t very welcoming and when we wanted to pay with card he would grunt mutter under his breath when walking away to get the card machine which is incredibly rude. Other than not feeling very welcome and slightly disappointed with majority of the hotel stay the town centre is beautiful, the pizzeria on the hotel site the staff in there are lovely and the wellness centre is nice, however I wouldn’t stay again

La Limonaia-Unfriendly service. All baths and showers were subject to an additional charge and prohibited for children under 14 years of age. The floor of the apartment is broken and dangerous for children. Dirty and confusing place to stay. We had a room for three, everything was made for just two. Major flaws and the staff was not interested in helping.

The place was falling apart. The doors weren’t closing properly, the floor broken everywhere and the terrace door handle didn’t work. Our air conditioning didn’t work either, and when complaining about it at the reception “but is it blowing air out?” “Yes but it is not cold, so we can’t sleep, it’s warmer inside than outside” and a quirky reply “but is it blowing air out though? Then it’s working”. I got handed a mini fan for a fee.

After read reviews we were prepared for the worst, but we were kindly surprised. I think hotel it is quite cheap comparing it with the other hotels in the area and it is absolutely gorgeous for this price. We had a room with balcony. It was not super luxury but it was clean, beds comfortable, towels changed every day. Breakfs was good enough. Dinner - big choice of food in the buffet plus member of staff were offering two types of pasta, different every evening. All people there are super kind and helpful! The are working very hard, but always smiling! For this price I couldn't be more happy with the service we got. Highly recommend. Alicja

Self catering death trap for kids, I can’t begin to start on the faults of this hotel. To start the ridiculous gradient the car parking spaces are ( that’s if you ever get one ) the self catering apartments at the very top are less basic than a prison. Cooking facilities of a camp stove with the upstairs room with 3 beds could only be described as an furnace with the air con positioned downstairs near the front door, the 3 power cuts a day make it really great for kids and the small amount of food you can put into the ridiculous fridge. Breathtaking views from the balcony only to be looked at for a second as you have to watch your children not to fall to their death over the small railings to the 25 foot drop below. The swimming pool with its nice film of dead skin and bugs was never cleaned once in the week we were there, no life guard either, the food doesn’t represent the area at all it’s disgusting and cold. Virtually the only positive I could take was the very helpful bartender at the pizza area was very pleasant…..that’s actually all I can Give this place.

We had a stunning view from our balkony over the whole lake Garda, it was really amazing! Our studio was large and comfy, the beds perfect, all needed was in the kitchen, the bathroom was nice and the toilet obviously new installed. Flat TV was new & worked with German TV program. The staff spoke German & English fluent. A really huge garden with a lot of palm trees and exotic plants, aloe, cacti etc. The pool was a bit too small - that could be a minus but beside that, we had a really good stay at limonaia residence and can´t understand all the bad reviews seen here at this platform. If someone needs a standard of a 5* hotel, someone should book this and not a 3+ hotel. We would come again.

The view is great, but that is all. I'm sure there's plenty of other hotels with similar view but better standard. I'D STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. getting to the hotel is a nightmare. if you don't have a car you have to walk a very high hill for approx. 10min, wouldn't recommend for elderly, people with walking difficulties and babies in prams. myself and my partner we were struggling to walk up and we are in our young 30s. parking a car is impossible, again parking is up on a hill, very steep, very narrow. not enough car spaces. at the check-in we were greeted by receptions, we checked in late around 1am so all we wanted was to get to our room. at the check in we were notified that we have an apartment but we need to leave €150 deposit for cleaning? THAT'S SHOCKING, I've never came across anything like this, on top of that we had to pay €5 for cleaning for each day we stayed? WHAT? just to let you know, the cleaner came to clean once out of 3 nights. it was impossible to find the apartment. when we eventually found our spot we couldn't believe it.. it was like Hobbits place. through the door you could see the outside/inside. the place was like from another century. the bed was THE WORST BED WE'VE SLEPT ON. can't even explain. uncomfortable, was too afraid to move on the bed, thought it was going to collapse. the bed sheets felt dirty and smelly. the shower was small, water was sometimes warm, sometimes cold. water in the toilet was making noise at night. the fire alarm on the ceiling above the bed was flashing all night. dead bugs/insects behind the door of the room. the list goes on and on. we had to ask the receptions for shower towels, no toiletries. we didn't eat or drink at the hotel because we were disgusted that's how bad it was. we checked out at 4 am ( thank God we were there just for the weekend ) you get your deposit for cleaning (still shocked) back only after giving the receptions a receipt given at the check in. Imagine losing this by mistake? don't understand the purpose of the deposit since the receptions didn't go in to check the state of the apartment. overall horrible experience. this trip could've been so much better, because Lake Garda is so beautiful but we were exhausted and disgusted with the hotel. I understand that standards in Italy are not high in 3 star hotel but I mean there's low standard and then there's THIS.

The hotel has a really nice view, all the rooms view the Garda Lake. Also with breakfast you can enjoy the amazing view. The breakfast is good, not a lot of choices, but enough to choose whatever you like. The rooms are a bit outdated and our room had a weird smell, but all by all “okay”. Nice to know; Unfortunately, the wellness and indoor swimming pool are closed due to COVID-19. Furthermore, there is a shuttle bus service every hour to the city Center of Limone for €1 per person. Conclusion: What you pay is what you get ;)
