We stayed at Castel Pietraio for 2 nights (party of 8) in 4 rooms. The hospitality of Gabriella and her team was truly amazing. We felt as if we were part of the family. The grounds were gorgeous and well maintained. The wines were fantastic. The breakfast offering was the perfect start to everyday. All of our rooms were well...

We arrived on motorbike and our room was ready. Gabriella was so helpful and accommodating. The "House" wine was great and inexpensive. We had to leave early the next morning but Gabriella got there early and set up breakfast so we would not miss out. The old Castle is so incredible. I love this area because I can get a...

We stayed in Castel Pietraio in August 2016. Unfortunately it happened to be our worst accomodation in Toscana ! Beyond the place in itself which is definitely very nice, the overall confort is really poor considering the price... The room was very small, wifi did not work, and there was no view (by the way the room was not located...

We had a few days here to relax after a friends wedding. The service is fantastic we arrived early and it was no problem to check in and relax on the terrace. Reception are more than happy to recommend local restaurants and places to visit. Breakfast is in the old hall, buffet style but perfectly adequate. I would recommend it.

This wonderful property offers you much more than what you could expect. The huge forest with many birds and wildlife, the wide wineyards to walk around, the nice swimming pool to relax and the neighborhood of the touristic places as Siena, San Gimignano etc. The Manager and the staff are wonderful persons who did all to make stay perfect.

We stayed at Castel Pietraio for only one night. The grounds, the buildings, the room were all beautiful! It was a lovely place to stay. The pool area was great, and the breakfast delicious. It did seem like Castel Pietraio isn't sure whether it is a B&B or a high end hotel. It is also suffering from a lack of...

This hotel was excellent with spacious rooms and a very good buffet breakfast. Ancient buildings with modern rooms. The Castel Pietraio is about 1 hour from Florence and is very well located in Tuscany. The air conditioner in the rooms was very good. Gabriella, the Manager cannot do enough for the guests.

We stayed here as a group for a birthday and not only did the venue blow us away but with the assistance of Gabriella and her team, we had an amazing visit. A must stay in the Chianti hills within easy access of all the surrounding medieval towns.

After reading the reviews we booked a junior suite for two nights. We were warmly greeted when we checked in and given a tour of the grounds. There is no traffic noise and the birds were singing their hearts out. We were given ideas for restaurants and touring. This is a wonderful place to relax. The suite was large and...
