we spent 3 beautiful days in this place surrounded by nature but at the same time very close to the towns and central Milan, beautiful and spotless rooms, cleaned every day, scented and with attention to the smallest details. Furthermore, the breakfast was really an extra touch, very kind and super helpful staff with table service, home-made desserts and dishes of truly excellent quality, highly recommended!!

My friend and I did a road trip from Brussels to Italy and on the return we decided to stay a night here. The hotel was spotless and the owner very friendly. Nice shower with good water pressure. We ended up eating at the on-site restaurant and it was delicious- highly recommended!

A very nice place. The staff is very courteous, the service is impeccable. Breakfast and dinner were very good. I came for the fashion show in Lodi and I really enjoyed the place. Definitely recommended to all types of travellers

Please let me quantify that apart from the owner, this property was really very good. It all started the minute our feet touched the ground at Malpensa airport. The owner started calling to see when we would get there. The airport is an hour away from Lodi. We had to get luggage, our car rental, then make our way to the hotel. He must have called every half hour to see where we were and when we were going to arrive.
When we got there, he wouldn't let us park the minivan (there were 6 of us including my 92 year old Mom) in front of the door so that we could easily deal with the luggage. He made us park in the garage across the yard so that we had to drag 6 suitcases and 6 carry ons across the gravel. He also made a few impatient gestures (use your imagination) when my brother didn't move the van quickly enough. When we asked for his help, he told us he couldn't because he had a bad back. (There was no elevator and we were on the second floor).
The accommodations, the cleanliness, the food in the restaurant, the breakfasts, and the other staff were all very good. Our stay would have been such a great experience if not for the owner, Luciano.
Whenever he saw us, he was rude and intrusive always asking where were we going, when will we be back and are we eating in the restaurant?
At breakfast, he walked around talking on his cell in a very loud voice rather than leave us alone. He was always hovering around.
Upon checkout, I left a couple of things in the room by the garbage can for them to dispose of. He came running out to say we left this in the room. I stood in front of him and said that they were mine and that I meant to leave them. He completely ignored me and asked my brother the same question! I waved my hands in front of his face and said they were mine and to leave them. He then again asked my brother AGAIN ignoring me completely! At this point I grabbed the bag from him and returned it inside to one of staff who said she would be happy to dispose of the bag. I still cannot get over his rudeness! This man has NO IDEA of the hospitality industry and how to treat his guests. He should learn from his staff. They were all very good.

Despite the reasonable room price a lot of cash has been spent on doing up Agriturismo Cascina Cavrigo in the recent past; the result being gorgeous bedrooms and modern clean bathrooms. As an English traveller breakfasts on the continent can be disappointing but here an excellent buffet with fresh breads, hams (crudo etc), fruit (kiwis, bananas, nectarines) and cheeses accompanied cereal.
The only odd thing was that the owner, and we were a cricket team on tour, tried to impose a curfew on us (of midnight) and was generally controlling. This is likely to descend from the investment he has put into the place and may have been slightly lost in translation but must be noted as we found it strange and slightly frustrating.

An amazing little gem outside Milan. An old farmhouse converted into a bed and breakfast.
Rooms are large, super clean, large bathroom and every single member of the staff was amazing !!!
The owner was extremely nice and helpful.
Breakfast was very good, a typical European continental breakfast.
For dinner, the restaurant on the premises was excellent.
Definitely going back.
Thank you Luciano, Silvia, Caterina, and Simona you each get a perfect rating of 10, including the premises!!!!!!!
I will briefly translate in Italian...un posto veramente magnifico !!! Camera pulitissima...collazione molto buona, ristorante per cena eccellente .
Il staff del hotel bravissimi e molto gentili.
Un posto che ci ritorneremo.

Due to traffic jams we arrived late (11pm) but this was no problem for the owner. Clean and big rooms, basic but tasty breakfast and safe place to park the car. Can imagine I would stay longer if we had more time!

Stayed here for a couple of nights for work - local meetings - and can say that I will definitely go back.
The rooms are spotlessly clean and very spacious, the breakfast buffet means you don't need to eat lunch! And all the staff and friendly and welcoming.
I arrived very late (00.30am) due to very delayed flights and yet was welcomed with a smile.
Thank you very much.

We stopped here on our way to Switzerland and we had a great stay. The rooms are clean and the owner is very friendly. We had the chance to see the horses and the breakfast was great with traditional italian specialities. If you are close to here you should definitely stop by.
