Modern design, all needed luxury, comfy rooms, great views (from rooms, restaurants, pools etc.), whether pool(s) or private beach/sea, good to excellent food, this is one of the best places to go on Rhodes Island. For those staying and having half-board, take out a dinner and go to the restaurant 5-senses ... Michelin worthy cooking! All the staff, throughout the premises, goes out of their way to serve you with a smile!
Regular readers of Lindos Blu reviews on Trip Advisor will know that I did a review for our stay in October 2020 where I rated the stay and the service exceptional. My wife and I have just returned from our second visit and our experience the second time around was even better and was far beyond what we thought could be possible. We used the occasion of our second visit to celebrate my wife's birthday and prior to our visit, Nikoloas, the Rooms Manager, went above and beyond to make the necessary arrangements to provide lovely flowers, a cake and warm messages for our room on arrival. This certainly started the stay with such a high degree of service that continued throughout our time at this exceptional hotel. Nikoloas greeted us personally when we arrived and we could not believe how many of the staff remembered us from our previous visit (even though we wore face masks!) and many recalled our preferences for meals and beverages without being prompted. It goes without saying, the service from Evi and Vangelis at the Luna Rosa Bar once again, provided the best you could ask for and really did put the icing on the cake for our stay. The rooms remain impeccable, housekeeping flawless and service throughout exceptional. All of this is due to the continued commitment of the General Manager, Alexandros who continues to be omnipresent and whose attention to detail and commitment to customer service flows through all the staff at the Hotel and it certainly shows why this Hotel continues to be so highly rated. Thank You, Alexandros, Nikoloas, Vangelis, Evi and every member of the staff at the fabulous Lindos Blu Hotel for making our stay so magical. Needles to say, we have booked again and cannot recommend highly enough you book a stay here too.…
The hotel is as good as it looks, if not better. I spent a glorious week here with a friend and truly didn't want to leave. As soon as you arrive your relaxing experience begins with a lovely welcome, cases whisked away and a welcome drink on the terrace to enjoy the amazing view. The rooms are lovely and well appointed, a welcome bottle of bubbles on ice and fruit salad awaited us. Each day small gifts were put in the room which was a lovely touch. We asked for single beds via email before we arrived and they were waiting for us. We only had bed and breakfast as we wanted to enjoy eating out in Lindos at night. Breakfast was an experience, I've never had so much choice, all in a fantastic setting. Our room was right by the lower pool which was lovely and though not many sun beds there, they were always available in the other terraces either in the hotel or on the beach. We ate in the Al a carte restaurant one night at the recommendation of other guests and it wasn't disappointing, definitely one to experience. We also had massages in the spa and again amazing, the best massage I've had, very relaxing. We will definitely return. The staff were all lovely, without exception and could not do enough for you. They were always happy to chat and all seemed genuinely happy in their work and being part of one big team. I think it would be hard to be disappointed with your stay at Lindos Blu.…
This was the best holiday of our lives. I believe no other hotel could beat this experience. It was paradise. We were treated with great care and respect by all staff. We were presented with 2 weeks of Vegan fine dining which is a first for us. We spoke to the chef on our arrival and he worked out a special menu for us. Every day! We were humbled by the attention and compassion we received at all times. It was total perfection. From the crisp white dining linens and bed linens to the quality cutlery and furnishings, nothing fell short of first class. The Food and Beverage Manager Mr Giorgios manages his team with quiet aplomb and what a team! Fantastic people who really want to make sure you have the best time. If you are wondering if it is worth the cost, belief me, it is!
Where to start? Great room kept immaculate by Elida. Lunch and evening dining was always appetizing.all the staff were welcoming and attentive, even willing to practice speaking greek! Very quiet and calming stay. Many thanks everyone.
My wife and I have been exceedingly fortunate to return to the Lindos Blu hotel in 2022. The highest standards remain and we were so pleased to find so many of the staff still there and the welcome we received from not only the managers and receptionists, but extended throughout the bell staff, restaurants even through to the cleaning staff who all did more than many luxury hotels in the World can (often those luxury hotel receptionists are prompted by computer records to say “Welcome back Mr…..). A cynical view may have been that this was to be expected as we had only visited last year, but I witnessed a similar recognition of guests returning to the Hotel after an absence of two years or more due to the pandemic. Such warmth and friendliness from the staff certainly make you feel part of the experience from the outset. Our room cleaner recalled us from a previous visit and insisted on leaving little gestures over and above the almost daily gifts from the hotel of beverages, chocolates and other treats – this all making every guest feel special. As other reviewers have said, it is difficult to single out any single member of staff as it is clear there is an ethos that prevails from Managers all the way down through the chain of an inordinate to remember guests and their likes and dislikes. All combine to strengthen the bond every guest ultimately feels with Lindos Blu. We did visit the fine dining restaurant, Five Senses, at the Hotel, and we had an experience that can only be described as “Michelin Standard”. The presentation and food were faultless, all overseen by Inese Caika, the Restaurant Manager or Maitre’D who would not be out of place in any of the finest establishments in the World. We will certainly book a table the next time we stay at the Hotel. We once again had a fantastic stay and like all guests who had returned after an enforced absence, are already looking to book again. It is no wonder with such exceptional levels of service, guests cannot wait to return.…
Absolutely stunning hotel in a superb location. Set up on a cliff top it provides a beautiful view across the bay with easy access down to a private beach via a couple of lifts. It was lovely having both perspectives of this wonderful location. The hotel is spotlessly clean, well laid out and very luxurious. Pool setting is perfect with easy access to a nice bar. Again the backdrop view is breathtaking both daytime and at night. Cosy bar area by reception and really nice restaurants with great food make it feel like home from home. Now the best part… the people who make this hotel really special. Right from arrival, the attentiveness from Despino (Debbie) at reception with a nice tour of the accommodation made us settle in straight away. Claudio on drinks at the bar served up a perfect Pina Colada as we had a dip in the pool. The restaurant staff were amazing, really friendly and so polite. It always felt sincere and a credit to the hotel and chain. We had a several massages at the aegeo spa which is located by the pool and they were incredible. The ambience was peaceful and the selection of treatments were wide ranging. We had a couples massage with John and Nefeli and they were out of this world. We both had a few injuries and the way that they treated us made us feel renewed. I am writing this from the beach and do not wish this holiday to end. Giannis who looks after us on the beach was always friendly with a big smile and a bucket of drinks ready for us as we came down. Nothing was too trouble for him. We would definitely come back to Rhodes and would only come back here. Lindos town is special. St Paul’s Bay for dinner was a special memory. A photo would not do it justice. You have to visit. In summary, a luxury hotel set on a beautiful bay managed by amazing people who seem to love it here as much as we did. That is what makes the difference..…
for us this is not a hotel anymore; it has become our rhodian home; and every member of the staff is family; for us this is not a hotel anymore; it is our rhodian palace: we are the kind and queen; for us this is not a hotel anymore: it is our rhodian private therapy center: it takes away all our stress and replaces it by happiness, good vibes, utter relaxation. for us this is not a hotel: it is heaven..... it has no added valule to repeat everything that is already said in all the other reviews; it is very simple: either you love it or you love it. To those who did not visit yet: good luck in trying to make a reservation; the hotel has but returning guests; if you shoud succeed: prepare for the ultimate travel experience.
Excellent hotel, with superb standards. The staff are amazing, and happy to meet our requests. The room we stayed in was really nice, spacious, balcony, good bathroom and plenty of space. When we arrived we were escorted to our room and given a mini tour despite the late hour. Arrival at breakfast we were greeted by excellent staff who looked after our gluten intolerance needs, and serenaded by a piano player too, great way to start the day! Good range of options a available. To ge down to the fantastic beach you need to take a series of lifts, takes a little getting used to as it is a bit of a maze but eventually you get it! At the hotel’s beach you are greeted by a very friendly member of staff (Gianni) who looks after you and gives you your free bottle of water, plastic glasses and ice bucket upon arrival. Lovely safe beach and beautiful sea. Good range of loungers and other seating. Good lunch options available, again great service in the bar restaurant of the hotel linked next to this one, Lindos Mare. At dinner you can be seated overlooking the sea and have a mixture of buffet and a la cart, the soup is presented to you by the fab Michallis, then a choice of appetisers and then you are served your main course, which is presented to you. Fantastic food choices and then the pudding was really good. At least 2-4 choices for us as gluten free, the lemon pudding was fantastic! Fresh towels for the room and beach daily, as well as the maid checking the room is ok each day with more water and chocolates! We both had a spa massage with John and Natalie(?), they were really good, both felt very relaxed afterwards, would highly recommend them. This is the best hotel we have stayed at in Greece.…
As we near the end of our stay (have been 12 times) all I can say is don’t change a thing. Service is impeccable, everything about Lindos Blu is just perfect. Staff cannot do enough for you.
