We booked in advance, needing an overnight stop on our Spanish road trip. Surprisingly, in contrast to other reviews, our satnav took us directly to the hotel. Nothing amazing. Just a small, modern, roadside hotel next to a gas station, but the rooms were clean and comfortable with easy, free, parking to the front. A fifteen minute walk will take... More

I think Zeus himself would have suffered a heart attack when entering the reception area of this hotel, well if he had some sense of aesthetics that is, as the decoration in this place is deplorable. One would think a hotel with such mythological name would at least resemble a bit of ancient past in the form of paintings or... More

We were happy to find a clean room and bathroom in a pleasant hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly and for our one night stay it was perfect. We were a short walk from the town and though there was not a restaurant for dinner at the hotel the staff ordered us a take away which we had in... More

I'm very easy to please when it comes to hotels. All I want is a clean room, that doesn't smell like smoke or some type of air freshener that is masking it up. I don't need any frills, a plush modern room, nice service, a hotel bar or restaurant or any of that fancy Stuff. Not that this hotel has... More

Merida is a lovely city, well worth the stop, but the Hotel was a little worse for wear. We arrived on a Sunday, only to discover that the restaurant was closed,as was the pool. There was nothing open around the Hotel and we had to walk into town to find anything, but they did not open for dinner until 9 pm...! Parking was free,room... More

The hotel is situated within easy reach of the town centre with plenty of bars and restaurants in close proximity. The hotel staff were excellent and courteous and spoke some English. The rooms were clean, modern and well appointed. The wifi in the room was very fast. We had our dogs with us and they levy a 5 euro fee... More

This hotel was exactly what we needed in Mérida. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable and this was perfect given that all we needed was somewhere to sleep and have breakfast in between running around the sites of Mérida. Finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge as we hadn't expect it to... More

As previously mentioned in other reports SatNav will not find the hotel as the address provided is not for vehicles. Get into the City and follow the hotel signs. I was given Room 101 and one to avoid as practically over a very busy petrol station. Air Conditioning was not working ( I was offered a free breakfast - 2.50... More

Merida was a one night stop for us coming from the north of Spain en-route to Tarifa in the south. The old part of the city in the area of the Plaza Espana was average fro touristy things to do and see. The hotel is handy to all of the major highlights to see. All it is best done on... More
