We arrived at the hotel not expecting luxury but certainly did not expect hell. We checked in on 25/03 and went to the room to find that linen had not been changed and had long black hair strands all over, the floor was flooded and there was no toilet paper! Needless to say complaint, requested for issues to be resolved...

This officially ranks as the worse hotel I have ever stayed in and as a Commercial Pilot I see a lot of them. December visit originally booked in for three nights. No heating, the door to the balcony was broken and would not shut. The room stank of stale alcohol and cigarettes with the bathroom toilet full of ash. Shower...

Initially our sad and tired room appeared acceptable and for only one night with the convenience of a short walk to Old Town, it could have been. Clean sheets, clean floors, clean towels, good wifi with no dropouts. But the state of the bathroom let the place down badly. We won't talk too much about the state of the toilet...

My partner and I stayed in Hotel Joma as it was relatively cheap for a three night stay at £25 a night. When we walked into our room I was taken back by fag ash and flies on the floor. There was a bar of used soap and cigarette stains on the bathroom sink and hardly any air conditioning as...

My husband booked this hotel without reading the reviews. When I read them I was somewhat dismayed. However I have to say it wasn't bad at all. Ok it needs some refurbishment and maintenance and the reception staff were a bit grumpy but the room was clean and well furnished and the hotel itself was in a good location for...

Arrived late at night and planned hostels were both closed. The room smelt, was damp and noisy, it was horrible. I cannot understand where the three stars come from. The one night was cheap enough but I stayed in Jerez the next night for less (and including a breakfast) and in a far nicer hotel that was recommended by Tourist...

Having booked late cos bought hubby tickets to motogp and had no idea of the availbilty. This was the only hotel left for 165 Euros a night. We had extra bed for 9 yr old son. I read the reviews and panicked. So before we arrived I sent an email saying please can you make sure it's clean. I got...

This hostel does not deserve what is written. I would even say that it defintely has a fair quality price ratio, especially during high season. Rooms are OK if obscure, bathroom is nice. However no breakfast as bar is closed (permanently?). Mucho mejor que otros habitaciones que hemos visto durante nuestro viaje. Buen precio por temporada alta. No es tan...

My wife and I stayed here for 17 days to attend the annual flamenco festival in February/March 2008. First time at the Joma for us. The room we got had shortcomings similar to those stated or complained about in other reviews. But, this is in downtown old Jerez where not everything works and where maintenance is manuana - tomorrow, if...

We arrived in Jerez without a hotel booked and after trundling round the town in the 37C heat made the unfortunate decision to stay at the Hotel Joma (50 euros/night in august n.b. it is 150euros/night at easter!). As noted by other reviewers it is not anywhere close to 3 star standard, and looked more like a 1970s 1 star!...
