A traditional pub with over two hundred years of history. The Three Horseshoes is located in the beautiful countryside of the South Downs National park in East Worldham, just outside Alton. Friendly and welcoming, The Three Horseshoes is hugely popular with walkers, families and with dog owners. Inside the comfortable pub has roaring log fires and flickering candles in winter. In the summer, there is a beautiful walled garden - hidden away for you to relax in the sunshine, savouring a long cool drink. Its mature shrubs, surrounded by the old forge outbuildings, offer a peaceful world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Three Horseshoes' menus are of the highest quality, balancing the hearty flavours of good traditional British eating with a more refined approach, the result being sophisticated but satisfying dishes to suit all tastes. Wherever possible the kitchen sources produce locally for use in not only the main menu but in light bites , daily changing specials and home-made traditional desserts. For those travelling to dine, you might consider booking a room for the night - The Three Horseshoes provides five letting rooms and space for motor-homes in the car park.

My wife needed somewhere to stay while we were moving house. Most local hotels weren’t interested but Jason and Aimee couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to make her comfortable. Jason was already gaining a reputation for delivering quality meals during lockdown and, on the evidence of this week long stay, the good rep was fully justified. Local businesses like this will need support as we exit lockdown and I hope they get it. Thanks guys for posting on the wash bag she left behind!

Jason and Aimee and family. they are a lovely friendly and very accommodating couple. the new menu is excellent and yesterday the Sunday lunch was fantastic. a very friendly bunch of locals too. definitely worth a visit.

Was staying at the glamping site that recommend was very disappointed it started off bad when there’s dogs running round had to ask to put leads on! Food was ok main problem was first choice was unavailable so went for the hunters chicken, they forgot about us when ask where our food was a hour and a half later it was just coming out the kitchen they said 15minutes later it come out! The hunters chicken come out with no bbq sauce and they run out of bbq sauce when asked for some they brought out brown hp sauce other members of the groups food wasn’t anything great!

Food was poor. I had fish pie and had to hunt for any fish. Really not very nice. Part of a group for lunch which we had looked forward to after being a year ago. Sadly it was a huge disappointment not just my lunch but that of the groups. Service was shocking and unforgivable. New team is suggested to save this pub.

We visited last weekend. We were a little apprehensive as we had heard it had changed hands and couldn't find a menu online to look at prior to our visit. The 6 of us were placed on a lovely quiet table. We were greeted warmly and drinks were ordered and served quickly. The menu has a good selection for all courses. The mac n cheese starter was delicious from my personal opinion and the other starters all went down well too with the rest of the party. Plates were cleared quickly and the mains came out in an efficient time without us feeling rushed or left waiting for ages. The only strange thing was some of the party had hot plates the other had cold plates. Nevertheless we all enjoyed our meals. Their chips are delicious. Portions are good and prices fair. All in all we had a great evening and will definitely be back.
