We visited here in July/August 2019 for our wedding with 42 of our nearest and dearest. From our visit last year, Ruth and Tim were incredibly helpful and accommodating, translating for us so we could organise all the necessary catering, marquee, flowers etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Our friends and family had a wonderful time and it will be talked about and remembered for a long time! The accommodation was perfect for our group size and everything on site to keep everyone entertained and happy. It was a lovely safe space for the kids, they couldn’t access the pool without an adult but had plenty of space to run around and let off steam. There was equipment provided for the vast majority of activities on site, we especially loved the Kayaks! Houses are comfortable and contain everything you would need, including satellite tv for the little ones and their early morning wake ups! We enjoyed the little through way from the Manor House to our smaller house which meant our friends could come and go as they pleased. We would highly recommend it here and we will definitely return at some point in the future!

We congratulated ourselves on finding somewhere big enough to accommodate our family of eighteen, not too far away from ferry ports. We were delighted with the Manor House. The children had plenty to do and the older ones enjoyed beautiful walks along the river. Sitting outside eating our lunch in the spring sunshine prompted a granddaughter to observe that it was like having our own, private pub. We would have loved to have seen the otter family but a school holiday nature project went very well.

Stayed here with family 8 of us from 6 to 80 years old,We stayed in mill cottage every one had a great relaxing holiday the kids had great fun playing around the grounds witch are quite extensive with the river running through the property very peaceful we went sightseeing everyday and it was a great place to come back to each night we used the barbecue one evening and sat outside to eat very pleasant, the owners live on site and were very helpful when we needed info on places to see but were very much in the background otherwise rooms are nice my only niggle was the beds could be better and pillows were thin my opinion only as no one else had a problem all in all a great place to stay and discover Brittany from and very good value.

Having recently returned from a wedding set in this beautiful location, I can't speak highly enough of the place. Hosts Tim and Ruth were delightful people who were very helpful towards everyone. The cottages were gorgeous and well equipped. The kitchens were more than adequate it really was like a home from home. The pool was lovely and enjoyed by all those who took a dip or two. By far one of the most outstanding features was the lazy river which passes round the grounds, so peaceful and yet while Sat by it you can't keep your eyes off it. Some massive dragonflies too. The local shops are within 10 minute walk and the fresh pastries and breads are delightful. Plenty of nearby resteraunts should you want to eat out. I really can't rate this place high enough. It's a must for couples, it's also a must for families. Will I return again? Too right I will. 10/10. Absolutely fantastic. Also one last shout out to Tim who gave us lift to the airport even though it was 2.5 hours out of his way, you are a true gent sir. Thanks again from the Jacksons @the Pryer Rebbitt wedding 22/08/2017

It becomes difficult to write a review when you become attached to the location and the owners! The complex lies in a tranquil little valley alongside a tumbling trout stream. All facilities are close by, walking distance in most cases. the beaches are a 35m minute drive, but if you wanted to there is no need to leave the complex. We cycled to the local patisserie, and the supermarket, and the owners provide bikes for everyone to use. There is a little restaurant in the town where we had lunch. 12 euro set menu including wine. Tim, made it easy for us, by phoning the owners and making a booking. The kids spent loads of time in the pool, which was really warm and has a cover for when the weather does its worst. We used the kayaks provided to go around 2km down the river, which is beautiful, and fished in the river.... Evenings were spent on the patio area using the provided purpose built BBQs drinking many beers and wines. We had a couple of minor niggles during our visit but these were easily sorted by the owners. I will be coming back! Super holiday.
