Great Hilton near Amersfoort.
Rooms are great and with some excellent views over the Golf Course (from your Balcony 😎)
Rooms are spacious and have a modern decor. Beds are very comfortable.
Breakfast is good (apart from the Scrambled egg which is a bit hard/over-cooked 😕) and the Restaurant has a nice chilled feeling, so a great way to start the morning.
The staff are really helpful (I forgot my Adapter and they found one for me 👍).
The hotel is a bit out of the way, so you'll really need a car, but it's seclusion is what makes it so good 👍

I stayed here during the Corona lockdown so some services were interrupted (e.g. restaurants were closed, roomservice was limited) so I will leave that out of consideration.

Overall - the rooms are comfortable enough for business purposes, you’ll get the usual ameneties. Yet the hotel on the outside as well as the inside (reception, corridors) felt worn-out and that it had seen better days. The rooms however, seem to have received a recent upgrade so that look & feel feels more contemporary and crisp. Would suggest to do the same with the rest of the hotel...

I would say that the service can use some pointers ....
- everyone is walking a crossed each other
- there should be enough people working in and outside
- if you see a empty table ask the customer if they need something
It was a busy night so we do understand if you doing the best you can to help everyone, but don't let people wait to long.

Than again the waiters were nice and friendly ... if you see a empty table ask the customer if you can clean it up.

I Don't know if the woman was in charge of the waiters . But i saw her crossing our table Lot of times asking other tables to if they need something and if everything was Alright but not ours. We have been waiting for our food for more than a hour. To keep the customer happy ask them if they want something to drink. Our glasses were empty for quiet some time. There were two guys that saved our thoughts about the restaurant. The young blond man did his best to serve us well. Than you had the waiter from Africa who apologized for what happened and did what he had to do to keep us happy.. this is a nice restaurant keep it that way.. work on some pointers

Think twice before booking a room at this hotel! We stayed for 6 nights, and the bed linens was changed only once on the 5th day, despite our complaints on the 4th day. The beds are made with a single sheet and no mattress protector, leaving you exposed to previous guests' bodily fluids. This is unacceptable for any hotel, yet it seems cleanliness is not a priority here. On the 4th day, our room was not cleaned, towels were not replaced, and the bathroom was left dirty.
While the location is fantastic and the restaurant staff are very friendly, the front desk staff are inexperienced and seem unsure of their duties. The duty manager is also never available. If you don't mind sleeping on an exposed mattress and having bed linens rarely changed, this hotel might work for you. However, we won't be returning.

Upon arrival at 13.00 I was told I could only check in at 15.00. I asked if there was a similar room already available. I was told that no room was available because cleaning was still being carried out. Then I showed my booking, which stated I could check in at 11.59. Suddenly, a similar room was available; I thought I had booked a King Deluxe Room with a view of the golf course. Check in staff stated that that was not the case, I got a view of the parking area. Can you please double check whether my memory was mistaken; After a walk I entered the restaurant and waited to be attended. Nobody showed up. I walked over to reception and asked whether the restaurant was open. They told me that it was, so I asked to be attended. After I was seated again, the reception employee came back and apologised because the restaurant was closed and the bar in the basement was open; There was no bathrobe present in the room. So, I called the reception. I was told one would be brought up right away. 45min later, still no response from the staff, so I had to call again. This time, my request would be followed up immediately. I was called back 5min later. No clean bathrobes were available. Again, apologies and I was offered a complementary drink (which I declined); When I wanted to have diner in the restaurant at 21.15, I was told, that I should go to the bar in the basement, because the staff in the restaurant would start arranging the restaurant for next day’s breakfast. While the service in the bar was excellent, the view in the basement was of course non-existent, and the request to have diner in the bar was out of order; During check out, I seemingly surprised your colleague at the reception with my request to see the bill specifications before finalizing the payment by card; Upon returning home I realised that I had lost my I-phone charger. I called at around 17.00hrs. I would be called back later by the receptionist. Never called back. Called again. No iphone charger found. Later I would be called that they found the iphone charger and they sent it to our home address. It was not our charger (older type Iphone).

We were just coming from the Amsterdam double tree therefore we could really notice a difference.
The hotel is just being rebranded as a double tree which means that the rooms are being refurbished.
Nice bedroom and bathroom.
My negative point would go to the breakfast. A bit of a struggle on Sunday to get GF bread. (Got it at the end of the breakfast but better timing on Monday).
Still the hot buffet is not great ( scramble eggs, bacon, “grilled” tomatoes and overall the buffet choice is limited ( compared to Amsterdam double tree). But it is a smaller hotel.
Otherwise very good for a relaxing and quiet weekend. The pool is nice, not too crowded and well maintained.

We stayed here on first week of October, it's our third time to stay here. After all renovation, hotel looks beautiful, room is nice. We enjoyed our stay, friendly staffs, swimmimg pool, delicious dinner, breakfast. Special Thanks to reception Errica who always replied my email and arranged everything which I requested and very friendly in personal. During corona time, we can not travel anywhere, this hotel is perfect place for STAYCATION to relax and avoid crowded and enjoy nature. We will be back to stay here again in November

We had a 4-day trip booked to this Doubletree hotel, and we booked a standard room. We are traveling with 2 young kids. During check-in, there was a very unfriendly man at the counter who told us that there was no upgrade available. We have been Diamond members with Hilton for over 15 years, and I completely understand that if there is no upgrade available, we don’t get any. So I just wanted to check in to our normal room, but the gentleman at the counter denied us access to our room, because the young kids were not allowed to stay with us in the room. I tried to explain to the man that kids stay free and even showed him the terms and conditions for this, but we had to pay for an additional room. I do not agree to pay double for my stay, and asked to speak with a duty manager, but there was nobody available. Sure, it was a Sunday afternoon, but this was very strange and unpleasant. The only alternative was to stay in two rooms and have a discussion with de general manager the next day. So the next day I went to the front desk, asking to speak with the general manager, but the GM was too busy to speak with us and another lady spoke with us. She was friendly and apologetic and she went back to investigate a solution. She called us later in the day and she said that they still want us to pay for two rooms. This is unacceptable for us and the only alternative was to cancel the remainder of our vacation which we did. It is really unbelievable how this hotel treated us.

We had a one-night stay in a wonderful large room with balcony. Check-in was friendly and the room was ready earlier than expected. Due to covid the bar was closed but the terrace of the restaurant offered all-day options. Had a great dinner with amazing service from Danielle and colleagues. The breakfast was well arranged with the covid measures. Some great walking trails at walking distance from the hotel.

Spent an overall enjoyable week here. Nice rooms, perfect beds, blackout curtains, quiet location, good breakfast buffet. Very friendly and attentive reception and restaurant staff. Room service was of varying quality, mostly ok, but on a couple of occasions beds not made or dirty cups and glasses not changed. During weekends you may have to wait for a breakfast table when arriving at peak time. Also to note, this is not a golf hotel; it just happens to be located next to a golf course. Overall recommendable.

When I stayed in November 2022, there was no fee. I think any pool will be attractive to children that know how to swim, but there aren't any special facilities for them.

There is generous parking on the property, all close to the hotel. We did that very thing (based out of the hotel to tour) and it worked very well.
