Scandic Opus Horsens is roomy with lots of space. The hotel is just a stone's throw from Horsens, in between town and country, and you’ll be able to wind down in no time, whether you are traveling with the family, are on a romantic weekend trip or just want to get a good night’s sleep after a long day of meetings.

Welcome to Scandic Opus Horsens! A modern hotel in a Scandinavian style, located between town and country. Scandic Opus Horsens is the obvious choice whether you’re exploring Horsens’ attractions, or you need a good night’s sleep after a long day on the go.

At Scandic Opus Horsens , we make sure that you sleep well and get a good start to the day.

Our large, bright rooms have soundproof windows that ensure a good night’s sleep despite our convenient location near Egebjergvej which takes you right into the city of Horsens. Most of our rooms have a view of the green area behind the hotel or the Nørrestrand nature reserve, and if you are lucky, you’ll spot a deer in the tall grass around sunset. We know that it is important to get a good start to the day, and every morning our staff will greet you with a friendly “good morning”, freshly brewed coffee and a big breakfast buffet offering something for everyone.

If you need to really unwind, you can relax in the hotel’s small wellness area where you can treat yourself to sensory experiences in the sauna, steam bath or a foot bath. In the evening, you can enjoy a dinner in our restaurant which focuses on sustainability, organic choices and high-quality local ingredients, serving a selection of both classic and more creative dishes.

Hotel Scandic Opus Horsens has been designed by Kim Utzon, and the hotel’s architecture is apparent already when you check in with the 12-metre-high ceiling and large glass areas overlooking the Nørrestrand lobby, giving you the sense of roominess and high ceilings that characterises the hotel.

At Scandic Opus Horsens, you are close to town, nature and all the attractions in Horsens. Our hotel is only two kilometres from the city and if you're looking for a short walk, you’ll reach Horsens in no time, even without a car. The hotel is also within walking distance of Horsens’ largest attraction, FÆNGSLET, which you may also be able to glimpse from your room. If you prefer natural adventures, the Nørrestrand Wildlife Reserve close to the hotel offers wooded surroundings with an abundance of wildlife.

We stayed for one night and brought our dog. Really nice to have that option. The price was 2200 dkk for one night. This included a meal, which we were not able to have. Our dog cannot be left alone in new places, so we asked if we could pay an additional fee and have our food ins our room. This is not possible. It was however possible to order room service. So they allow for us to pay 2x200 dkk for a cheese burger and have that brought to the room, while it was not possible to have the meal we have already payed for, brought to the room. So that was great... being milked for more money when the things you had payed for was not available for us. The rooms are fine. Although if you bring your dog remember everything. Food, water, bowls etc. it cost 300 dkk extra to bring a dog, but there is nothing included in that price. We had to make small bowls out of paper cups for our dog.

BIg room with nice bed, clean and well equipped gym. Great breakfast with many healthy choices to choose from. Free parking outside and nice staff. Would have loved to spend some time in the spa, but didn't get any reply on my booking request in advance - maybe due to covid time?

My and my family had a exelent stay at Hotel Opus Horsens. Service by all hotel staff, cleaning, food and accomodations at the hotel was exemplary. Only one down side is that fitness center is in a rather small room, and ventilation could be better. Gym ecuipment is very good though and up to date. All in all a exelent hotel, friendly and cozy yet very professional and accomodating. We reccoment this hotel one hundred percent.

The rooms were okey. The people working there were very nice. The Spa area was pleasant, but also a little outdated. The breakfast was very boring, very little variety. And there was very little to do with the kids there. They have a mini golf, but its fun for only an hour.

Easy access. Lot's of parking spaces free of charge Comfortable rooms Passable internet speed A bit off the city centre but at walking distance. Breakfast was not to my liking, especially the hot buffet. Having prefabricated portions of scrambled eggs inside a plastic bowl and a piece of sausage and bacon on top of a plastic cap are neither appetizing nor appealing. All in all its a clean, modern business hotel at Horsens. It is a good choice for a traveller who has business to conduct nearby.

Really nice hotel with big rooms. The bathroom was very nice. Even though I was sleeping in a bed chair it was very comfortable. Also the food in the restaurant is good. I recommend this place if you want to go somewhere to relax for a few days.

We stayed at Opus as we had a family party to attend in Horsens. The hotel exceeded our expectations, the room was amazing and clean. The food and service at dinner was amazing, the only thing was missing in my daughter opinion was more sausages for breakfast (an English thing) but actually found the pancakes and she was happy.
