We just spend a weekend. This hotel has a great location next to the park. The lounge area is nicely decorated and provides a good welcome. However, you can see that the rooms are decorated not too long ago, but everything needs some fresh paint / new wallpapers etcetera and general maintenance. Also a bit noisy. Breakfast was nice. Personnel somewhat clumsy. You can recharge ebikes in the basement.

Nice hotel with perfect location for a shopping weekend to Maasmechelen village and Roermond. A large breakfastbuffet with a lot of choice , and nice view on the lake. Room was ok, we had almost everything we needed except for the pillows which were of a really bad quality and not really helpful for a good night's rest...

We went a night away for our 22 years together without kids with overnight in the hotel. We used a Bongo box. Very good received and very nice room! Great stay! Breakfast was very good and great variety.

Upon arrival in the hotel was no one at the reception to find however the key cards with the names of the guests were on the desk for anyone to see and... Breakfast was complete served about 08:00 am. A bit too late. I just had the chance to see but no time to have breakfast. Nevertheless, the room was clean.

We stayed for a night in Seattle. The front desk staff were lovely! The room was tiny - large comfy bed - but only one side had access - to enter the bed, to an outlet…One of us had to crawl over the other and one of us could not plug in and access electrical items. We are 60 and found the high tech features a bit frustrating - that’s all well and good but… this is a hotel for young people - and this should be stipulated on their site by describing their space and checkin process. The main reason for writing this review… I tried to contact the hotel regarding their welcome greeting on the in room tablet - a pair of legs in cowboy boots that spread apart to reveal the word ‘welcome’. Both my husband and I found this degrading.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The room was clean and well isolated (we didn't hear any noice from the hallway), but could use a little renovation (for example: the wallpaper was loose). The bad was a little hard, but I guess this is a personal preference. However: there is no airconditioning in this hotel! We stayed at the hotel during summer (August) and it was really hot in the room... The hotel provided us with a fan, but this was very noisy so we were not able to sleep with the fan on.

We booked a comfort room but asked airco. There are no rooms with airco in the hotel so they upgraded our room to a superior + room. However this was just a mobile airco and was too hard to install. We also could not put down the heating so the entire night there was a frustrating zooming noise. Beds were soft, pillows too soft. shower was nice. Further, the food in the restaurant was good but the service poor (starter was served before the drinks and bites were served). Finally the breakfast was nice. Overall it is good for 1 night if you don’t mind the noise at night. Fyi: we had room 408.

Lovely hotel in great location next to a lake and a shopping centre. Modern and trendy with spacious room, comfy bed and modern bathroom. Good selection of buffet breakfast but extra 20 euro per person is steep. I visited during warm summer days up to 27c and the room was far too hot. There is no air con and ventilation was limited through one small opening window. A fan was provided making sleep posible. Hotel reception staff are young and inexperienced and have limited customer service skills. On check out I was not offered the choice to pay in Euros with my credit card - only uk pounds at a poor exchange rate plus commission. NOT ACCEPTABLE. I had to waste 20 minutes finding an ATM to pay cash. CASH in 2022! On top of all that there is a bar next to the lake with sound system and speakers facing the hotel playing loud music much of the day so rooms facing the lake are best avoided. You can close the window and reduce the noise but will lose what little ventilation you had. I’m sure there are better hotels nearby for summer stays. I guess winter would be ok unless the the rooms are overheated…

Check in wait - 20 minutes (one person in front of us). The check in staff member couldn't get their questions answered, kept running off to ask at the bar and left us standing for 20 minutes. Totally unacceptable service level Rooms - Nice but really hot. AC is inoperable. You either get a room facing the road or one facing the lake, which is a nice view, but beware, the terrace out the back pumps loud music which starts up at 0715AM. Because the rooms are so hot, you have to have the window open (which is small and useless), so you get to listen to this music whether you like it or not, whether you are tired and want to sleep or not. Breakfast - ok selection, several of the items were all gone and it was not refilled in a timely manner, Tables not cleared and in 20 minutes I saw not one member of staff. Good luck sitting at a clean table One elevator not working. Be nice if there was a sign to say this instead of allowing me to get in and find out the hard way. Check out - pointless if you want a printed invoice, I got handed a bunch of invoices none of which were mine. No check to see if my stay was ok. Just poor. All in all, nice room and comfortable bed. But it just felt chaotic, underwhelming and extremely hot. I was glad it was only one night and I will be choosing an alternate hotel in the future. Stay somewhere else would be my advice

1) Room allocation: I booked two rooms: 1 with king bed and 1 with twin beds. I contacted the hotel a few days prior to our arrival: this was confirmed. Upon checking-in, I asked again and was provided with the room keys: 1 king, 1 twin. Turned out that both rooms had king beds. We directly requested a room change which was granted but turned out to be two separate beds put together with a king size mattress topper. Went back to the reception and were told that Housekeeping will split the beds up. We went out for dinner and upon our return, the modifications were not made. Only then (after the 6th request) did the Night Auditor split the beds up by himself. 2) Breakfast was chaotic: the hotel was probably at full capacity (or almost). Buffet was not restocked on time and people were queuing awaiting for restocking. A little waiting time is understandable, but they were clearly understaffed/unprepared. Given the "restricted" number of seats at the breakfast area, it could have been foreseen to prepare the restaurant area for breakfast instead of preparing it for dinner. 3) (minor event, but this adds to the list) Bar: we had drinks very late on Thursday evening and left just before the closing. Our glasses and bottles were still on the table outside the next day until past 11:00am. 4) Check-out: we mentioned the above to the receptionists (both apologised) and asked if any gesture could be arranged for our inconveniences, and "unfortunately" only the manager can take that decision. Guess who was not working that day? There was also no Manager-on-Duty to make the call. When we asked the receptionist who was supposed to take decisions in this case, he said it was up to them (Front desk) and that he decided not to give us money, otherwise the manager would be mad at him... As a former Assistant Front Office Manager, I am still speechless that I have not yet been contacted by said Manager.
