Quaint, amazing Partial river views. Clean, large. Well above expectations. Quiet. We were on bike tour and they left the keys at the desk for our late arrival. Great mix of authenticity and modern. Highly recommend and would stay again. Typical, but good breakfast.

Had stayed here for three nights and it was great.
We booked a suite with a breathtaking view of the forest and mountains from the balcony. It was worth the extra few eoros for the suite.
As we arrived we had some minor issues with the room (leaking shower etc.) but it was quickly fixed by the lovely owners.
The place is run by a family that are really nice and are happy to help with any question. I never got his name but the husband was really nice and helped a lot!
Breakfast was pretty good and it's what you would expect from a european hotel: fresh bread, cheese, salami and eggs.
The hotel is in a remote location what makes it very uniqe but accesable only by car.
Thank you very much I would recommend this place on any time!

The host was very attentive and friendly. The staff is very professional. our luggage was brought up to the second floor immidiatly upon arrival. The Sauna complex downstairs is brand new and amazing, and the view from the windows is something you surely don't want to miss. The breakfast was good, and the restraunt downstairs offers delicious cuisine. The rooms are clean, very comfortable, and ours had a strong Wi-Fi. Do yourself a favour and don't miss it.

The biggest issue that there is no restaurant in this hotel or nearby :( we checked in pretty late after all day traveling with car, were hungry and expected to relax at the hotel restaurant, but after check in we had to go by car to the city nearby, find parking and have dinner there.
But the next day we had pretty nice dinner at the terrace with our own food from supermarket :)

Also they have a pool at their photos, but its not for hotel visitors, we have been told it is "private" i gues for hotel owner.

Mountain view room i would say "part mountain view", because our window was pointed part to the building roof, part to the mountains.

The room was clean with daily cleaning
Very quiet hotel
Very good breakfast and in the afternoon they serve free coffee and cake which is nice :)
Also comfortable for travellers with cars because of big and free parking.

Had an excellent break in Golling...the hotel was set in a stunning place, with mountain views as stated on the website and confirmation on booking. Hotel and room was clean and comfortable! The staff members couldn't do enough for you. David the hotel owner was an absolute star, recommending activities for us to do, and kindly giving us a lift to where we needed to be - stupidly having not rented a hire car! Loved the two hotels pet goats could see them from my balcony!...would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to stop in beautiful surroundings and stay somewhere that you always feel welcomed and looked after! Its also an excellent location to get to the ice caves! Would definitely stop again in the near future!

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay. David and Stephanie were excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble. David was a superb front of house caring for our party and Stephanie ensured our we were always well feed following a hard days skiing. The hotel is excellent, comfortable rooms and the biggest benefit of the hotel is the well being area (this is a must after a days hard skiing).

The views from the hotel are great the location is superb for access to the ski resort and Salzburg. I highly recommend the hotel. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

This property is a true gem. It is family owned and they are wonderful. We felt as if we arrived home each of the 2 evenings we stayed here. Cozy, quaint and comfortable are 3 words that describe this property. Breakfast was also delicious and well laid out. A quick 30 min drive to Salzburg and a beautiful scenic 45 min drive to Hallstatt.

This was one of the nicest nights we have experienced. From the friendly greeting, offer to assist with luggage, and freshly baked cake to leaving after a breakfast with all of the expected plus more home baked goodies that kept coming from the kitchen; we only regret our stay was so short.
The views from our room up the valley great and the stars at night - 😁. Then the surprise of a steam room and sauna. Hope to return soon and stay longer.

Great setting in the valley with views of mountains and forest and 5 min drive to Golling town with good restaurant options.
Nice pool outdoor and terrace.
Sauna and wellness area with limited hours so we did not use.
Easy check in, we were arriving later and we're given a code to get the key from a lock box.
Clean and cozy room #21 with bathroom, small flat screen tv ( we didn't use) 3 beds with good bedding and pool view and at night you could see the light on a the eagle's nest on the top on the mountain from the window.
It was over 30 degrees outside and the room was warm. We asked and received a small fan that helped. It was cooler overnight.
Free WiFi worked well.
Very nice free breakfast buffet.
30 min drive to salzburg.
